@@5ellz84 Maybe, but a lot of times it is just one guy feeling like the other hit him too hard so he has to respond with a hard shot of his own, then it escalates from there.
@@kainickname I understand. It is awkward navigating some situations. Do I just step away and let them feel like they "won," or do I meet force with greater force to hopefully humble them or let them know to just calm down? I think this is why I so often kept to a select group of training partners/gym friends whom I knew were going to push me yet totally safe from being injured by.
My Belgian top notch old school coach, who had two sons in the pro’s, who’s 70 years old , and knows everything about boxing Would throw 2/3 of all of these “ boxers” out of his gym, Sparring is about learning, playing, hit fast, flexibel, with speed, footwork, but certainly not throwing atomic bombs ( to the back of the head “ really?”) . Shame on these guys, no respect for boxing sport or sparring partners. When you spar like this , you don’t learn anything and you don’ t have an oppurtunity to try something new. When you do a competition sparring and you give a clean shot and there is a Tko or ko you stop immediately, you try to avoid it to happen by breaking the force of your shot and you help your sparring partner. Boxing is not street fighting. Shame on almost all of these guys in the videos!
This what I always hated about boxing vs mma gyms. Better guard your grill and be ready to lay it all out in a boxing gym. MMA gym, if you get your ass whooped, least the dude pulls off little bit and shakes your hand afterwards.
The most squalid thing about these films is that no one intervenes when these situations of tension, confrontation, loss of control arise. Coaches, trainers, gym managers nobody does anything to avoid this shame.
i dont think all of these are actually sparing matches i believe alot of these may be Scenarios were street fighter walked into a gym to challenge professional fighters
I got smacked out with a roundhouse sparring with a green belt I had only been training for 8-12 months. The sensei or shifu then sparred with the green belt to show him the error of his ways -it didn’t end well for him. I got better at sparring over the next 3 years too😂😂
1:30 This was an embaresment to all of boxing 💀 I know hes not walking up in that gym again after thinking that he was HIM "aye you got in the ring tho" lmao
It’s ok to spar hard but if you know when it’s to much don’t keep throwing. I know sparing hard aint right but sometimes you got to but not to the point you hurt the opponent were they can’t hit back and you keep going
It need control from both. Thats why its best to spar with brother or friend(real friend, not just a gym friend) Brother are the best, no matter how hard the spar goes, we instinctively dont have intention to hurt hieach other
Some of these are actually sad like bro how you lose in one punch like wtf is going on where it doesn’t at least last 2 hits some these 🥷🏾 didn’t even get to throw a punch 😭 😭 I’d never fight again in my life might as well get a gun(legal firearm).
Any person who knocked their sparing partner out should be banned from the gym or at least getting himself knock out by other fighter in the gym to make it equal
Boxing has the best striking… however actual matches and just sparring = Seriously brain damage. It’s a cruel sport and it’s hard to believe a real match can last up to 50 rounds of this, right? Haven’t seen Rocky in awhile.
A lot of these aren't even bad. Some of them are just normal hard sparring. And sometimes u get hit really hard. Imo if the coaches stop it and the fighter doesn't keep hitting someone who isn't defending, it's ok. A few of them are straight up accidents That being said, a lot of these are really bad
