I’ve heard of KNG for a long time, he’s domestically famous in korean movies and dramas. But last December I watched Through The Darkness in Netflix and I was amazed with his acting and I wonder why he isn’t well known internationally. He’s such a great person that it inspires you to become a better person too.

Kim Nam-gil is one of my favourite actors and I highly recommend his work. Through the darkness, Song of the bandits, Memoir of a murderer, Zombie for sale, Fiery Priest etc.

11:48 well he didn't say movies/dramas cannot be timeless. He said if you focus too much on trends, the trend might get dated. So he focuses on basic emotions that are common for everyone, that are timeless? I'm sorry English is not my dominant language. i hope that made sense

Well Kim Nam Gil has got many roles and production made only for him. And there were those which were reported and released by the producers but had no further news thereafter, and we know he must have rejected them 😂 He is really a Master of Disguise and acting 🥸 Not only do we love how talented he is, but also how great he has always been as a person ❤ He is just too humble and low-key... To us, HE IS A GEM 💎

8:33 Sebastine I can relate so much. I wasn't in an accident, but I was diagnosed with bipolar in 2017. It took me so much time to accept it, which would cause me to relapse alot. I only recovered in 2020.😢

Im English,live in London. Nam Gil is my all time favourite actor, for over 10 years. Ive seen everything hes ever done. Fantastic actor. He is known internationally but mainly its in Europe for smaller movies like The Shameless which was highly praised in Cannes Film Festival. Hes a Philanthropist (gives everything away!) excellebt Classical Musician..piano and flute and phenomenal actor. Including great Comedy actor. Hd is a Martial Arts Master. Seriously worth watching his stuff.
