My parents’ friend’s husband passed away by his own hand. The wife found it too upsetting to keep the husband’s beloved dog, so we adopted him. He was much loved and had a great life. I hope this pup does too.

That money should go to the victim, every time. Government shouldn't have an incentive to look for crimes that don't exist (tickets, fines, promotions, etc).

The thing is, with someone like this randomly walking up and calmly admitting to a heinous crime, asking to be handcuffed, the police need to have evidence that such a crime occurred before they can arrest the person who walked up. He could well be a mentally ill person (randomly) confessing to crimes - they exist. The police want evidence that what the guy says he did really happened, and not just in the guy's mind. You can't just arrest people for being crazy.

It's a little wild to me that you saw a dog next to the body of an innocent 32 year old victim of domestic violence murdered in cold blood by her bastard abuser and your response was "Man, I really hope the dog's ok...." without a word for the dead woman whose body the dog was guarding.... Yes, bless the heart of that poor doggy who was trying to protect the one I assume the poor thing was loved by.... But also, my heart breaks for the woman who fought against addiction and won that very difficult battle only to be murdered by a piece of shit who should have been grateful she ever looked his way....

I heard they have good meals . Or well free at least. And have you seen the cells in the UK? They tend to have a lot of entertainment options. I know that for juvies at least they can even have game consoles. Adults at least have a tv in their cells and it looks like a cheap Hotel room. Who knows this woman was getting into debt so much she was relieved to be arrested to have a roof, a bed, a tv, food and what it without paying a penny. People can be interesting creatures. Not saying this was the case for her but do we really know? Even in the US some homeless people commit crimes to get arrested simply to have a roof over their heads. Get let out, live on the streets and recycle it all. So that's what came to my mind honestly.

Dude I'm mind-blown because I actually knew the victim from story 1 and her sister! I knew them when they lived in North Carolina though. When the picture came up of the victim I was like "huh, she looks familiar", and then Mike said "they moved from NC to IN" and I was like "that's weird"... then the clip of her sister being interviewed by the news came on and I was like "okay wtf I actually know them!". I'd seen the bodycam footage of her killer answering the door and saying "I shot her" before, but I'd never seen a picture of the victim or the interview with her sister before so I had no idea. Sorry I'm rambling, I just never expected to see people I actually know in a true crime video on RU-vid. So crazy!
