Why does she need to know the third amendment? It’s not relevant to modern law enforcement. Cops DO go through training for the other amendments. The Third Amendment says you can’t be forced by the government to let soldiers stay in your home. It’s a rule for government officials. It doesn’t affect patrol officers.
They must have forgotten to double check what they think is right before speaking. To reflect on that can catch a lot of errors. Sadly some people dont discover this in life... (I didnt double check for grammar tho...) :3

The cop straight up did something you're not supposed to do, shoot a driver currently operating a moving vehicle. He made the danger himself, he was not being held onto the side of that car. That cop made every wrong decision.

I looked up the case and it wasn't just that. He caught several other charges that weren't listed here, including Felon in Possession of a Firearm. He got 15 years for that alone. The aggravated battery was 30 years, but the attempted manslaughter was only 5 years. He was also a habitual offender with at least 20 felony convictions.
I guarantee you that the first women officer knew she needed a warrant to enter someone's house involuntarily. Just didn't know the exact spot was the 3rd amendment. Those guys were just looking to harass.
