For the record, a few years ago I wore one of those brands of mosquito repellent bracelet things to Bali and I actually got an allergic reaction on my left wrist where I wore it, which ended up being worse than the mosquito bites (which I got a million of anyway). So if they're saying they've got satisfied customers, I'm not one of them. Edit: It's been eight years and I still have a scar on my wrist from that allergic reaction

I really like eucalyptus oil. Not only it has multiple health benefits, can act as headache reliever, makes your chest and stomach area feel better when applied, has calming scent, helps clear runny nose when you sniffed it, it also repels mosquitoes. As a bonus, when the oil eventually evaporates and dries off after like many hours later and the effects wears off, your skin doesn't feel oily.

The company does NOT have millions of satisfied customers, they have a large proportion of their customers that simply throw them away and not bother complaining.

I'm a Brazilian army officer when I was sent to a mission in the Amazon region they give us a kit with four large bottles of OFF and four bottles of a repellent made by the army chemical lab, Off is to being used indoors and the other outdoors because this one have 3 times more DEET than the costumer available repellent, they gave one to wash our clothes with, still even bathing in repellent all day long, I still get bite and still get Chikungunya. There's mosquitoes here in Brazil than probably can bite through kevlar and titanium plates.

Honestly we use citronella essential oil, rosemary, eucalyptus, and peppermint suspended in a coco butter and bees wax balm. It works incredibly. We live in Florida and mosquitoes will be insane. As soon as one of us walks outside, you get SWARMED but when you use the balm, you see the swarm approach then just fly off. These bracelets just aren’t enough to prevent mosquitoes. You’d need a few, on each arm, and a few on each leg.

Thanks for sharing. I've been wearing the mosquito repellent bracelet to protect my left arm. The doctor told me after a major operation that I can't ever get bitten on the left arm by a mosquito or else my arm will swell up larger than my leg, and stay that way. These people should get sued. I will never wear the bracelet again. I'm going back to using Off Spray.

Last time I was in the Everglades, it was during the worst time for mosquitoes. I was dripping with DEETs but the mosquitoes just used it as barbeque sauce and made a meal out of me.

I live in Gainesville and never knew that there was a center like this here.

I live in Sask Canada. Sprayed one arm with Off (deet) the other arm dabbed five drops of garlic oil (left over from Mosquito Barrier)and rubbed it around After working in the yard all day, pulling out bushes, digging etc. then hanging around the back yard fire until about 9:30 the deet arm got one bite near the elbow(maybe missed the spot) and the garlic arm got zero bites. By the end of the day you could not smell the garlic but still effective...the Off arm still stunk like deet.

This just made me realize that people had to go through this kind of testing several times before to see if it was worthy to work

If u ever tried those oil repels you know its worth it for the smell alone, this thing is great and smell so good!!

That wouldnt work for me, none of them. No mosquito can resist my blood, IM RARELY OUTSIDE I LIVE INDOORS AND I LOOK LIKE I HAVE THE BITES OF A PERSON WHO LIVES OUTSIDE. also, I swell up.
