I had the honor of meeting your dad. I played on a show bill with him in Bristol TN for the BCMA (Birthplace of Country Music Association). The Red Clay Ramblers backed him that evening. What a great man and beautiful musician.
Now that's what we can call gospel. Singing it by to the high to the angels... I remember one time they really got into it that one of them said no bring it down bring it down little bit we're getting too out of hand here. But once you start the banjo. The banjo is not going to stop You just can't stop..a banjo it takes a life of its own
Wow, Blees you. I just seen this. RU-vid hates Christianity. I just got out of detention for 24 hrs for quoting scripture. I'll see you when we are walking the streets of Glory@@user-wi9xv3kx9q
I had also heard Jake at one time left to work a day job, and then came back. Is that true? You’re right though, I had heard Josh learned a bunch of the rolls on dobro from Earl while first playing bass. Anyway, I probably have all of this confused somehow. Sorry.
I helped my aunt and uncle farming when I was a kid. We always stopped early on Saturday to watch Flatt and Scruggs, the Louvin Brothers and Porter Wagoner. Some special memories.
Bach in one corner, Mozart in another cornet, Beethoven in another corner, Palistrina in another corner, Josquen de Prez in another corner. Chopin in one salon, Shubert in another salon. Duke Ellington in one ballroom, Louis Armstrong and friends in another ballroom. Cole Porter, George Gershwin, George M Cohan in the grand theater............You get the idea.
#poetry in the #music When I finally do die don't anyone cry Remember good times fish we did fry Remember what a happy Dancer Was I Remember Me Alive keep your eyes dry life lessons of the wise I did well apply
May the Righteousness of the Lord's be your Armour. May the Lord's Righteousness be your Armour. May the Lord's Righteousness be your Armour. Shield you from Evil. Repel Earthly Demons. Building your Treasures in Heaven as Supplication to Jesus Christ . Lord and Savior.
Love how the ol' boys all have their hats cocked. The look on the banjo players face at the beginning shows his cockiness. Pimps. All too cool for school
