One of the biggest pieces of advice I've gotten from Mr. Franzese was "The first guy to raise his voice in an argument, automatically loses the argument." I've always had somewhat of a short temper and that statement has helped tremendously. Thank you, Mr. Franzese!
@johnnysworthout1640
@johnnysworthout1640 3 года назад
So very true. I have a temper myself. At work i have become a pro at being known for being so easy going and calm. I am not that in real life and still work on that to this day with the people I love and my family. No truer words. When you get mad, when you yell, when you name call, when you stop thinking, you have already lost.

Grew up on the south side of Chicago, got to see it live and in person, both the "mob" and "gang" lifestyles. Went to Catholic school with a lot of the kids in the neighborhood of those Folks. I stuck my toes in the water a few times but never really fully immersed myself. This vid really got to me, it helped me see the other side of it, the reality that awaits those that do in fact, immerse themselves in it. I've witnessed the bad side of it but, it never really "clicked" until this vid. Please keep doing what your doing. Thank you.

Cant fake genuine and when talking about Artie, you could see the sadness. That hurt, and continues to hurt his heart. One of the things I love about these videos is the mix/balance between the street smarts/book smarts and how it can still be applied to everyday life. Obviously, you won't recognize me, but I even attented some of your public speeches, years before this destructious pandemic. And was really grateful for being able to see you once again on youtube after so many years. Sure as heaven and our Lord's name, will continue on following the action, probably mostly lowkey as I'm not always able to come up with nice message) Your channel now is only thing keeping me good company, so... Joining Michael's crew was one of the best things I've ever done. After 20 years in the military, I can relate to seeing things that people shouldn't ever have to see. Most importantly I love everything Michael does in speaking openly about mistakes of his past and how we all are responsible for our decisions. I'm a single father with a teenage son and talking with him about our relationship to Christ only goes so far as his dad. He loves to watch Michael's RU-vid channel (drawn in by the mob stories I'm sure) but Michael's message about how ALL things are possible through our Lord and Savior has begun to stick with him as well and he asks me about God as much as he does about mob life. I know God placed Michael in front of him to strengthen his relationship with Him at such an impressionable age. God bless you and your family Michael, and I can't thank you enough for what you're doing through your stories and testimony. Your brother in Christ, Jamie.

@Jason A what do you expect? Constant and endless instant gratification? Thats not how the world works, that's not how God works. It only works when you choose to open your eyes to it, and or have integrity with yourself and try to find it. "If you seek, you shall find..." how do you expect to find something when you deny its existence, do anything to discredit and shut it down? The power of manifestation is real. What you put energy into, whatever you focus on, becomes your reality. You see the world through how you see yourself, what your thoughts and state of mind are. If God doesn't exist in your heart, in your mind, you don't experience God. Goes back to, "if you seek you shall find." Once you open your mind whole heartedly, it will present itself to you. It starts with letting go of the *ego.* Dissolve the ego and you will make an unmistakable connection with your higher self and with God. Some people are controlled by their own ego, which suppresses their spirit. When you block; suppress the spirit, you close it off to the light. Ego and spirit, is a balance of yin/yang. Too much of one can cause unbalance. For instance, too much egocentricity creates vanity. It will make you feel superior over others, you become so wrapped up in yourself, the idolatry replaces Family, God/the spirit. These are simple yet very complex things, they are multi-demensional. Once you unlock your mind and spirit, dissolve the ego, you will experience higher frequencies, higher levels of consciousness and higher forms of wisdom. The point is about God and spirituality, about energy and manifestation. People cringe and pull back so hard when it comes to believing in a higher power, like they will catch a deadly disease and die. I really cannot understand what's the worst that could happen to try and put your faith into a higher power? Obviously we are not all powerful, obviously _we_ are not God. God is part of us though, and God is everything and everything is God. People have their different ideas of God, but in the end its all the same God, just a different "path" to it. There is no harm in whole heartedly and humbly asking to show you the way, to present to you the path. There is no harm in humbly putting your faith out there. The key is to have willingness. The key is trusting. Trusting deters many people, they are incapable of it, as if it were a person, but ultimate trust coincides with belief being reality, it coincides with manifestation. Trust is the way. The only requirement is a desire to *find.* Michael said "God knows our hearts... You can't trick God." You can't be disgenuine, you can't lie, manipulate or fool God, not like you can a person. That's why your state of mind, your state of being, is your reality. If you open your mind, if you open your heart, you will find it. I can't tell you the remarkable signs I've experienced, the peace and serenity knowing that all is OK, that I am on the right path... Because everything happens for a reason, even if we don't know at that particular moment. We have our path, we have our journey. A good way to serenity is having faith and acceptance. Faith that everything will work out exactly the way its supposed to, and acceptance for all of your problems today. Until you learn acceptance, you know no peace. Until you learn to have faith, you will have distrust and denial. Love yourself, break the chains of ego, and have faith.

@@kevinkearney4187 what if that is evil and not God? If God represents the essence of love and light, wouldn't it make sense that evil is committed because of evil, not love and peace? Committed by those who are "without God." Unfortunately there is also evil in the world, not only good, love, etc. There is a balance of forces- good and evil, like yin/yang. There is not only one over the other and in this universe, there cannot only exist one side. There is an opposite to literally everything in this world, weather it be an opinion, a thought, a feeling, an action, etc. I don't understand why people humanize God as if they are a person responsible for other peoples' actions... People choose to lable an evil, soulless person's free will as the act of God. You understand that we cannot control everything that happens in the world, nor can we expect a beautiful perfect world... Because, unfortunately there are terrible things that happen in the world. We have free will, but we are sometimes powerless over the outcomes- the fate. We can ask for wisdom to better understand our will but we will never have full power over the laws of the universe. You can't blame everything bad on God. You can't, _not_ receive instant gratification for everything you want and then blame God for it. That's not how it works. "What kind of God would do that?!" That is not God, that is evil men/women who are _without_ God. Read my last comment to better understand. I'm not sure if what you're saying is just a denial-based excuse to further push away the idea or what... However, many people look for reasons or excuses to deny the existence of God which further pushes them away from finding or discovering a higher power or even their higher self... Because "if you seek you shall find, if you ask you shall receive." Lastly, you don't have to believe in anything, I won't judge you if you choose not to believe nor want to, or try to... That is your decision, however one cannot simply look away and ignore it in every way and then say "see its not real." Looking for reasons God is "bad" or not real, will only make you not see it or be blind to it. That's why it makes no sense to deny it if you don't even try to see it yourself. "If you seek you shall find."
