Me either. My best friend turned on me trashed things between me and my ex, kicked our relationship while it was weak. Destroyed it, my ex let her. I reacted with love I told her I loved her for years and would just like to discuss things with her like mature adults. There was a point she became Dominic and spewed insults and was incomprehensible, it was psychotic and that's when I realized there was an element of possession. After that and all her cowardly actions I informed her I thought she was a coward and it would be pointless to try to discuss anything because there was no value in knowing her. I'm sure that cut deep after all she did. Her hate runs deep, I have something her father who passed she gave me to keep she for years, I told her she would never see it again but she will. She will get it back and have to never look at it because she'll always know she has it because of my goodness, it will remind her of her terrible choices for the rest of her life. It is so special to her because she loved her dad, but now it's tainted with her terrible soul choices. I'll give it to my ex to give to her. I'm glad to be this lesson in her life, I'm glad she disrupted my life because I wasn't happy, I'm glad she made it known how weak of a friend she really was before I moved on. I would rather know a person is worthless, hard times shines the light on people who can't show up. I don't need to fair weather friends.

Sorry you have experienced this I've been through a lot of similar issues also I just look at it now as i ve been trained in the enemies camp and what they used for bad in our life, Yahshua was teaching us how to see it, then it becomes clear the lessons and strengths we receive from that horrible experience we endured. I believed they existed but never had direct contact until my ex. I believe he actually had several. Im an empath and I think he was after my soul and I barely escaped the relationship with it. Aside from having EVERY single narc trait, his voice would change, his eyes would change colors, his body language, his demeanor, and he would say things that I didn't think anyone could ever say to me. The pain he inflicted upon me was like nothing I ever felt. If I were to imagine hell...that would be it.

Mine apologizes on a regular basis. But then the next week or next day would do the same abusive behavior. It got to where the apologies didn't mean anything. I think they have brief moments of insight, just enough to keep them in a deep self loathing, but then their defenses rise again and they slip right back into it. Although usually when we would get an apology is when they wanted something. But I remember long ago, real tears and a moment of panic they were in, desperately not wanting to be just like their biological father. Those moments are brief and just torture them more. It's torture for them and torture to watch and not be able to fix it. Eventually I learned I had to let go. My help only made them hate me more. I'm so glad people are talking about it. I don't like to go down the demon angle though. Because once people start writing others off as demons that takes all their rights of being human away. And who gets to decide who the demon is? I feel like that's a slippery slope back into the salem witch trials. IMO

Trauma bonding and the cycle of abuse often starts from what you experienced as a child, the cycle may have been normalized to you. You have to learn the cycle, then you can look for the patterns and learn how to get out. If the trauma comes from childhood abuse, it's not good to say that's karmayic. That implies you deserve it, and no one deserves to be abused.

We have been in a church that does not address casting out of demons...but I have found ministries that do and My husband os just now saying he wants this out. I proceed with caution...praying for protection over myself, our children, our house, etc.

I have a similar story, my wife also has this, it's demonic, I wanted to take her for deliverance and she threatened to sue me. I had to let her go. We must not play with demons.

You lived exactly the way I did. Mine was so demon possessed, the stronger my faith, the more he moved away from me and did more drugs and alcohol in defiance of my faith. He ended up in Rehab for several years, then dying. It was the most horrible experience I would not wish on anyone. He's been gone 18 yrs and I am still trying to heal from that experience.

My mom as well. She destroyed me so bad, that I withdrew from all people, including my own family members as well as friends, and behaved as if I didn’t know them. To this day I’m estranged from people, but I have finally cut it off from my mother. I had to.

Girl, Im so sorry you had to grow up w/a narc mother. I know because my mother is a narc. She stole my soul, body and mind. The criticism in my brain never goes away. After 43 years of no contact (accepting that my mother is incapable of loving me) along with years of on and off therapy will never restore me. I’m ok with that but I will never place my health on the line again. It’s to risky and dangerous. These folks never change and my time and energy is more important. I have learned about how pathetic she is, she can’t help it so I hold a tiny piece of empathy for her and that’s all she gets.

Yes! I think that you expressed my feelings as well! Paula is definitely unique, for she courageously moves beyond to address the holistic side of this illness like no one else. It is a complex dynamic, to cover narcissism aligned with a spiritual aspect of demonic bondage. Every person, in my reckoning, is a spiritual being experiencing a physical reality for a time, and we are holistic in total. I pity the narcissistic aspect in us all, and those people who fall into the trap of becoming narcissistic to the point that it dominates their souls. I feel compassion for us all, truly. Paula and Dr. Ramani, Dr. Les Cárter, and others have been leading me out of the mud pit by the grace of God! I have great respect and admiration for them. Dr. Diane Langberg, also, has impacted my life as I move forward into a more fulfilling, healthier way of life! Even Ramy’s adorable snores and blissful stretches on his couch make me smile and it helps to balance everything that is weighty with a touch of lightness! Even the background of the warm, inviting living room and Paula’s cozy sweaters add warmth in this cold struggle, as we focus on the mire and untangle the insane threads! There is victory in the fight, and we are no longer victims nor do we have to take on the old role of savior or martyr! I believe we can't fully heal without the radical acceptance of knowing that nobody was really home inside that vessel. They live outside their body in a false construct. It is sad. They had to leave as a child to survive, but their soul does choose to return or not. Somewhere along the way they decided, " I want to be in the power position" God creates everyone with the exact same inherent measure of free will. Blessings!

Behind every enmeshed mother, there is another story probably of abuse, grooming, being born to one narcissistic family system &/ or marrying into one... it's like being locked in Plato's cave... with torture added. And this may go back generations.

Mine threw my belongings over the railing and set all my babies things on fire using the excuse that the "agents" are after us and we need to destroy everything they are after....funny it was only my and my (our) babies things....

I was raised this way too, I looked and acted like "my father" apparently.. Its not something you get over easily if its childhood abuse but work on yourself, you are an amazing survivor and happiness is always the best revenge on a Narc. Sending very best wishes.

My mother was narcissistic also. She was a horrible person to me. I finally cut ties about 15/16 years ago. My life is sooooo much better. She passed about 3 years ago. Both my sisters are just like her, I have nothing to do with them either.

I understand... My mother was a religious malignant narcissist. And, I was her scapegoat. She died last year on October 16, 2024. I have yet to shed one tear. I have no tears left inside of me now. There's just none... I mourned her death while she was still alive. She was an empty meat suit consumed by evil entities. I could see that she was demon possessed. And, she hated me with ever ounce of her being for not letting her break my spirit. She knew that I was full of light (Holy Spirit). All I ever wanted was for her to love me, and for her to let me love her. But, the demons inside of her were many. I saw the creatures manifest through her many times. She would beat me for no reason and while she would be beating me, she would make evil sounds that were not human. It sounded like a dog growling. After she would beat me, she would look so relieved, and happy. It was like she gained great satisfaction from it. God Bless You! I pray you will heal, and have peace now. You've made the right choice. No Contact is the only choice we have. They only get worse. They never get better.

I have two siblings that are still living. But unfortunately, I have one deceased brother. My deceased brother was also her scapegoat. He didn't survive her abuse. He chose to unalive himself due to all of the insanity. He and I were her two middle children. We were neglected and abused the most. My oldest brother, and baby sister were her two Golden Children. She petted, and pampered them. But, they were abused too. She abused all of us. She just went about it differently with each one of us. She triangulated us all against each other. She wouldn't let us love each other, and be siblings. She wanted us to hate each other, and only admire her as "Queen Mother." Her manipulation (witchcraft) mind games were through the roof, and off the charts. Now, that I know that she is not walking and talking in this world anymore, I can finally feel some peace. It's hard to heal from all of this deep pain. But, God is helping me. God is the only reason that I survived it all. Sorry that I have written you a book. I still get very emotional about it all. Not even when I’m alone and in desperate need for any financial assistance or emotional help? Because I contacted a narc ex and I already know what to expect (which is good). I figured to use them to grow and do better with my reactions. I contacted her and she gave me good responses, but I see all through em. The narc in her haven’t been removed or anything. Not naive to that no. But I’m in a interesting situation where I’m in need of someone’s help and decided to contact her via email. She responded in good grace so I’m just gonna play my card right from here and try to get help without any expectations. Idk what do you think?

I feel so lucky to have my husband. He has protected me. Maybe find a church to help? I prefer Unity churches. Every religion is accepted there. So if you are not super into one religion or another this might be a good place to start. If you are of a certain faith, start there. Talk to the Pastor, send them links to the threads, videos and podcasts to try to enlighten them. They may not totally understand Narcissistic abuse, but they understand abuse and probably have good resources to help.

Start praying and fasting. Build yourself in the truth and ask God the Father to guard you from their viciousness. Strengthen yourself in Christ and through knowledge of how the enemy underneath works and what his tactics are against you and how God is going to use it to strengthen you. God bless and may this word benefit another survivor.

You'll find some of your greatest support from strangers.. I have an extra seat in my truck, now that the narcissist is never welcome back! I'd be honored to help a stranger remove themselves from danger and start a new life! Don't give up on hope and faith! You can make one decision that could completely change the course of your life!

They are trying, unconsciously, to secure that healthy attachment that was missed early on with mom. They want our unconditional love regardless of their problematic behavior. Basically an adult body grew around that 5 year old child.

I struggled with this until 62 years old after turning my cheek 3 x to betrayal abuse and asked forgiveness knowing my beliefs by an atheist that caused me to lose a business that supported us all 15 years then inherited money and sabotaged us including himself in rage justified hate slander he believes now for sympathy in bars to cause 9 months isolation me to 70 lbs no care only abuse all day yelling as I am the cheater not him he told it til it’s truth to him , closed a profitable business 15 years supported him through school to play music for loose barflys in beach bars in a garage band , took me out of hospital I asked to be in terrified insomnia can cause psyosus delusions and so did he help no he screamed to scare the daylights out of me in shock no tests told ppl im terminal going in long term at 59 yo , closed business 1.5 mil gross year to 0 with no one knowing how sick I am my daughter had a husband sudden kidney failure transplant he worked with us they r in new York I had no one to help he told no one the truth and no care only that I lived then dated 2 more years acted different no grateful act he’s hateful demon all day then I was shown 2 photos that turned to 200mi looked n found a story that’s a horror movie script not my reality he acted for money that’s all , he sold my car , business stuff said work here it’s illegal k can’t so it all lost jobs for himself his children grandchildren lost healthcare for us all the kidney transplant was when I spent my last dime to pay that and prayed it would end tell me what I did to deserve this and heard nature screaming at me I thought angry and realized late it was a warning of the knives in my back and danger I had been in , I will never love anyone more than I love myself to the point of allowing that much suffering through the demon I saw and still attacking knowing my faith telling me it’s wrong not to forgive , no it’s right to be sure you aren’t forgiving a dishonest demon attached to a man you knew since high school had no beliefs in God of relig, I thought I could save him change him showing love offering grace .. last thing he said to me was in response to a letter to communicate instead of like all this hatred because I asked him to leave because he was being cruel and I don’t want that kind of relationship in my healing especially seems to be trying to destroy me instead randomly just hot and cold up and down behaviors and not the same person that you still love me and I don’t trust this man whatsoever after he said to my sweet letter ending because I love you and I’d like to work this out said to me, fu you blind stupid pig I always said that you were .. as. If I was nothing but dirt after 5 decades I thought I was showing love supporting his dreams over my own it was appreciated as much as dirt and thrown on my name and family in spite envy resentment and hated me clearly that whole time it was an act disturbing don’t do it. You don’t have to forgive more than you don’t even have to forgive once if you were hurt that badly you just look at that whole situation and make sure that you’re not offending your own soul first or your family that was a brutal lesson, but thank God I finally learned it. I think they are multiplying. At least it seems like everyone is fake. It's the dividing of the goats from the sheep. I am very isolated because of my insights and I can't be fake. I had a plan to go to a new friends house for the holiday. Her mom was in the hospital so it will probably be postponed. Prayers for her mom. I was looking forward to getting to know this new friend better. It feels like a spiritual attack to keep me isolated. I hope the mom is ok. I feel kinda selfish for thinking this.

Whatever they tell you about the x just reverse it. My x told his new supply he had to divorce me because I was having an affair with his best friend and I raped him of all his money. He had 2 affairs on me( probably more) and didn't pay me 1 penny. I m et mine in a major collaps... Homeless, vulnerable, lost all the money and I fell in love with his vulnerable human side, I wanted to give him all my love, heal him and he started saying WOW! You give me my fire back! And I did not know what it meant at that time. His finances started growing very quickly and he offered me to rent a house together, I was not able to pay it because of my other financial obligations and he promised to pay it completely and efforttlessly. I rented a new house (he manipulated me to go for the most expensive option, promising to pay for it, but I was the only person on the rent contract). Three months later he left abroad and left me with my problems and obligations but wanting to keep me as a source of supply to regularly come to visit him in another country... Feeding me with promices of his return and false future promices... He kept me busy with him on the messenger online non stop distracting me from my own purpose and focus, breadcrumbling me and letting me to survive my own struggles. On the meanwhile his financial situation was flourishing by day, however the more financially abundant he became, the more he started breadcrumbling me and just using this financial situation as one of the hooks and strings to manipulate and control me. God helped me to see through it and to free myself.

OMG my ex narc shaved his head. When he came banging at the door asking when he could come back I never even remarked about his head shaved. I know he did it for effect but because I never said anything he was even more enraged than before. He disgusted me from the inside out and felt like throwing up as I was thinking how in the past I had let this demon touch my body. It sent shivers down my spine and my thoughts were too #$?¥%

Was it sleep paralysis? I've heard that's a sign of demonic visitation, and a lot of people see things. I read that sleeping on your side or stomach (odd as that sounds) can prevent these visits, but sleeping on your back is where you're most vulnerable. It sounds crazy, but several people mentioned that in an online discussion that I was a part of, and I just Googled it to make sure I had the "safe" sleeping positions correct, and there it was. ❤🙏

Be thankful you even got an apology. My mom is 82 and has no recollection of her past abuse. She doesn't understand why my sister and I won't be a part of her life now that she's old & lonely. It's a shame she can't even admit anything.

Indeed God/The Divine Oneness Loves us all. Even and especially the ones that have strayed from their truth - from Spiritual love and light. Only God can help the narcissist, but they have to want it and ask it in their hearts. I’ve prayed for my ex and it is my hope she would choose a better way, but sadly I don’t think she wants it in this lifetime. They will live in suffering until they open their hearts to our loving mother/father.

I prayed to Christ Jesus Almighty and he helped me that night I got rid of my narc. He listens and cares and loves us and is our one true friend. Take it to Jesus in prayer and God Bless 🙏 be strong.
