Dear brothers and sisters, I’m a Roman Catholic by birth - at least my parents and grandparents were so. In my teenage, I felt incomplete and chose to practice Hinduism. I even practised Kundalini yoga, but found that Yoga is just occultism. Also, I never felt complete either. Then I thought Islam must be the true religion as they follow everything strict, but later found a Muslim Imam (Priest) who got converted to Christianity. I finally found solace in Roman Catholicism again. This time, I didn’t come back just by my instincts, but with innumerable reasons and I am still getting deeper into the subjects of Catholicism. Also helping people who are in the phase where they need a bit of guidance to help them understand what they really need, with regards to faith. I’m about to become a Catholic Priest as well. Please pray for me.

@@robertaliastibob931 Brother, I'm late vocation. I joined the seminary while I was 27 years old, after having completed my graduation in Civil Engineering and working for 5 years. I have joined the Dominican Order. For your surprise, it was started in the year 1216 by St. Dominican de Guzman in Toulouse, France. I am happy to see your message and I will keep you in my prayers, Robert. Try praying Rosary wherein you meditate on the life, death, and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ (which indeed is scripture). Also, know the scriptural reference whenever you pray on that particular mystery. E.g. Joyful Mystery: 3 - Birth of Jesus (You must bring to your mind all that happened since Angel Gabriel told about the good news, travelling to Bethlehem, Manger and so on).

Yeah we are very similar, unlike other Protestants (who went so far they started doing what they said they were running away from). Anglicans retain the Catholic heart beat. The Anglicans coming home with their modernised approach would breathe much needed life into Catholicism. Much needed bravery to show adaption does not mean leaving Christ behind. Full communion while retaining differences is good not bad. The Queen could even still be in place easy enough. This is the first arch bishop I’ve seen who is not just cardinal level but Pope level. He’s an equal of our Pope. It’s not been since Wolsey you had this. God has gave you a great Shepard. You could easily see him sitting on the throne of St. Peter. A Godly man. I think he’s modest when he talks and charitable and just like Pope Francis lives for Jesus.

@@michaelkavanagh5947 the difference is the queen has no role in god or governance of god because no man is above Christ. The holy father Pope Francis is the Shepard of gods church and guides in the right direction. The pope is elected through prayer not through the queen or prime minister. While women cannot become priests because the apostles were all men. While both churches could reconcile with allowing priests to marry because it’s only just a catholic tradition and not cannon law. The pope is also Christ’s representative on earth and the Holy Ghost works miracles through him. The pope is fallible though not all is right.

Repent, confess your sins before Christ for your salvation. Read New Tesrament to know Jesus' and knowing that you must be born again from Spirit and water to inherit the kingdom of God. John 3:1-7 NOT TO BE A PROUD ANGLICAN !!! God is not the author of confusion or religions. He is the author of our salvation in Jesus Christ and we all should belong to Christ NOT ANY RELIGION !!! May God open your eyes for your salvation in Jesus Christ who will come soon to take His truth church (Church is not building) who obey His teaching. I call myself a "Traditionalist Anglican" because I embrace the 39 Articles of Religion, through which the Anglican Church exposed the heresies of Romanism and restored the true Catholic faith. You probably know that many well-known Angicans (including the current Archbishop of Canterbury) have abandoned some of the 39 Articles in deference to ecumenism and/or modernism. The 39 Articles make no reference to the Apostolic Succession because although Anglican bishops are part of this historic succession, such a succession is not central to the Catholic faith. However, if one had to trace a historic Apostolic Succession, it would lead to the Eastern (Orthodox) Church. Historically, the Orthodox Church is the original Church because just as the Sun rises in the East, the Church started in the East, not in the West and Jerusalem is an older See than Rome which is the usurper and pretender predicted in the Apocalypse. Also, the Bible clearly states that Peter was the Apostle to the Circumcised (the East), not to the unCircumcised (the West). At the Great Schism of 1054, the Romanists became the original schismatics. Thus, the idea of the RCC as the continuing church is a false myth. After the Great Schism, the part of the Church which remained papist became a new Church - better called the Western Romanist Church (which continued to call itself "the Catholic Church"). After the glorious Reformation, a new papist Church began again. All those who chose obedience to the Papacy over and above the core "solas" of the Primitive Church (which were restored at the Reformation) became part of a new papist Church (which once again continues to use the misnomer "the Catholic Church"). Protestant/Reformed Christianity is older than Romanism precisely because the restored ethos (the "solas") of the Apostolic Church predates their corruption by apostate Romanism. However, it is not history that is important, but fidelity to Christ, the Word of God. In fact, the import of the clear teachings of Our Lord (see, for e.g., John 8:39), St. John the Baptist (Matthew 3:9-10), and St. Paul (Romans 9:7 ff, Galatians 3:29 ff), etc is that God loves the preservation of a spiritual apostolic succession rather than hankering after a so-called historic succession. Thus, genuine Apostolic Succession is found neither in Romanism nor in Orthodoxy, but in Reformed Christianity (including, pre-eminently, Anglicanism). The Roman Church is apostate, because it has DELIBERATELY rejected God's Word, in the quest of its leaders for MONEY, SEX and POWER.

Ironically, the Church of England of Henry VIII could be readily reunited with Rome since it had no doctrinal differences other than the schism. It was during the reigns of his children Edward and Elizabeth in which the Church of England truly became Protestant.

What happens when the present monarch does not allow the unity between the two churches to take place. It is not allowed by British constitution for the monarch to be Catholic. In contary to bad relationships between Lutheran Protestants and Catholics, the relationship beteen Anglicans and the Catholics were much closer. In the beginning of the Church of England which is 1538, this church was actually called a reformed Catholic Church. And also Henry Viii when he split with Rome, he remained hostile against the European Reformation. So was also the Elisabeth I the first official Governor of the Church of England.

As a catholic if we let women become priests, then we would have ito allow priests to get married. And I see this being that the catholics do ntoo think jesus would marry, and priests are sort of Jesus so ergo, why would priests get married. It is something the Anglicans do better then the Catholics, I say as a Catholic. The protestants are very more traditional then the Catholics, which I think is better having tradition.

Catholic priests do marry in many of the Eastern/Oriental rites and churches in communion with Rome; marriage is only forbidden in the Latin province. Marriage is merely a discipline of the Latins: it has no such theological barrier such as women's ordination.
