As a Japanese person, I can confirm that this song is about a schizophrenic guy who tries to help stop an non-existing girl from committing suicide, but the girl is actually the grim reaper the whole time trying to kill him and eventually succeeds in killing him in the end.😢
Even Japanese vibe the hell out of this song , specially those who already tried to commit suicide/have depression history. Well , I can confirm all I said.
@@flmana3304 not necessarily , it could also be a metaphor. Even if you know Japanese you may not know about the true meaning , since it's a reference to "Tanatosu no yuuwaku" , a Japanese tale.
@@flmana3304 actually your wrong, in english translations it seems like suicide but in reality it means the guy is trying to tell her to hold his hand instead (which is another way of saying dont jump)
American when pumped up kids played : “Can’t even think how dark this song…” Japanese when pumped up kids played : “Can’t even think how this song is such a banger”
there are a whole bunch of western songs that do this. there are some western songs that people misinterpreted as love songs and you don't realize were actually songs about things like the artist writing about their real life stalker or a random person being a stalker. there's a guy I watch on RU-vid who had a section on his channel called "songs/lyrics we let slide"..... hilarious stuff
That was the most smoothest moon walk I’ve ever seen!!!😆😆😆 🥰💖Thank you guys so much for the likes I’ve never had a comment that went over 500 likes!!!🥰💖
So to those who didn't know what's the song about, The song is called Racing Into The Night by YOSABI and posted by The AnimeMen. So this is based of the story " Seduction of Thanatos." Thanatos is a disease that people believed that can see the grim reaper. So, The song is about one day, A man found a girl about to jump off of his apartment rooftop. So he saved her and they fell in love instantly and she told him she had Thanatos. But a few days/weeks/months/years, He was tired of saving the girl because she always wanted to jump off the rooftop. So he jumped up with her. But, Sadly she wasn't even real. She was his grim reaper, Turns out, The man had Thanatos. So sad right?
Great details, but this is not posted by The AnimeMen, this short was from 2021 and the song came out even earlier. The post you mentioned came out 2 months ago.
For people who dont know japenese the song is about a girl about to kill herself by jumping of a building but a man spots her and goes over before she jumps and saves her and they start dating she explains she was going to Jump cause she has a desease called thatanos this disease is where she can see demons and they try convince her to kill herself every day but despite Having him she keeps trying to kill herself one day the man eventually gives up Trying to save her and jumps off a building witH her as they are falling the girl fades away this is when the man realises the girl never existed at all and he was the one with thatanos and she was the demon he saw trying to Get her to kill him self and it worked sad isnt it?
For people who don’t know, this is about a suicidal girl and a boy who is trying to help her not to unalive herself. But he fails because she is actually not human. She is his grim reaper trying to lead him to his death. And at the end of the song she succeeds.
It's videos like this where I'm reminded: Fiction is nothing more than reality with a bit more creativity. This gave heavy anime vibes from just their wholesome dancing alone, and I just love it all.

@@qwertyluzqwertyjara4647 I like this song called my r but in English and it's literally about that also and I still enjoy the song just not for its meaning I just think it's catchy and sounds nice
Fun fact: This song is inspired by the story Thanatos no Yūwaku (タナトスの誘惑, An Invitation from Thanatos). In short, the guy sees the girl trying to jump off a building, stops her, love at first sight, every time she planned to suicide she texted him about it, he thought she wanted him to stop her, but what she really wanted is different, one day, she again tries to jump, he gets there quickly and grabs her hand, she is saying the god of death/grim reaper (Thanatos) is calling for her, he is telling her that she needs to look at him and not at the grim reaper, apparently, the grim reaper appears attractive to whoever it calls, he then asks her, why even though he loves her so much, won't she look at him, she said that she doesn't want to anymore, he said that he doesn't want this either, she said "I'm tired already", "I'm tired too" he said, "I want to die faster" she said, "I also want to die!!" he said... At that moment, when he said he also wants to die, she lifted her head, she smiled. "You finally realised?" she asked. "Ah... I finally understand" he said. "Really? That's great" she said "Ah I see, every time you planned to commit suicide and called me, it was not because you wanted me to save you... you wanted to bring me along" he said Now we understand that she wanted him to suicide with her... Why? To him, his grim reaper was her. "Well then, shall we go?" She asked "Let's go" he said "Hands held, you ane me" he said they jumped together... In conclusion, the song isn't about a double suicide or something, it is about a girl who tries to suicide, a guy who tries to stop her, she ends up being his grim reaper and the whole time she just tried convincing him to jump with her... at the end... he agreed.
There’s some English pop songs that are kinda wild when you sit down and read the lyrics. But when you’re partying and dancing you don’t really care, as long as it has a good beat, we boppin.
Sloppy Phart I'm talking about it and showed a woman I know, who enjoys dancing, a video of these extremely talented young men tonight, which I'll keep doing! 😊
basically the song says is about a girl who was on a rooftop, about to commit suicide. But a guy then saves her and convinces her not to jump. Later, the guy then asks the girl why she wanted to commit suicide, and it was because she had Thanatos' disease. The people who were ruled by Thanatos wanted to die, and the people ruled by Ero wanted to live (I think). It is said that the people with Thanatos' could see and hear the Grim Reaper. And since the girl could hear the grim reaper calling out to her, she wanted to jump. The girl tries to commit suicide again waiting for the boy to save her again. It then flashes to a scene where they are both ready to jump. Once they finally jump, the boy sadly dies but the girl doesn't. It is revealed that the boy had Thanatos' all along, and the girl was his Grim Reaper.
No, Thanatos disease is a disease that makes someone see a nonexistent love of their life. He thought that the girl had Thanatos disease and she was looking away at a nonexistent man who she loved but he was the one who had it and she was fake.
