On the other hand he seems totally honest in this lack of emotions. He doesn't try to cover it. His body posture is honest also. Imo he is dysfunctional or just emotionless person. There are such people among us, including myself. I have one of the personality disorders, called "avoidance personality". I hardly ever feel emotions. The more stressful situation, the more calm I am! My whole psychological system is concentrated on avoiding the emotions and whenever I can do it I'm very happy. I don't even like to feel joy for example. (I spent last 20 years on different therapies and finally I started to feel some emotions. For example last year I started to feel angry on my first boyfriend, which is 30 years after we met! (I'm 45 and was properly diagnosed 5 years ago).) Imo normal people very often can't understand the difference between emotions and morality. Just because they are lucky to be normal, and they cannot imagine the situations of somebody who is not so lucky to be so normal as them. Emotions are something we can't influence. They just happen to us. (Even to me. They still happen to my body&mind, my personality disorder just "pushes them out of my view".) This is why we humans also learn morality. There are psychopaths for example, who are lucky enough to be diagnosed and understand the diagnosis, and despite they still don't feel remorse while hurting others, they don't do that, because they learnt the common morality and use it on the daily basis. They are still unable to feel the normal emotions, but they are able to learn normal knowledge about emotions. This is hudge difference! This guy may feel dozens of different emotions or may feel no emotions at all - these are just chemical reactions of his body and mind and he has no power or minimum power over them. Yet, he has a power over his actions, his responsibilities, his morality, his ethics, he has to obey the law, he is a part of his civilisation, his society, his nation, etc, etc. This is why the lack of emotions is not the key to the case. The key to the case is whether he is honest in his testimony. Including the lack of the emotions. If he would cover the lack of the emotions "OMG OMG my beloved wife is dead, noooo, I couldn't even think about thaaaat" - this would be imo much more suspicious than his obvious lack of emotions during this meeting. (We don't know whether emotions won't for example "hit" him couple days later, such situations are also possible with human brains.)

Yeah when Scott says "I didn't go in because I was afraid of what I may find, but if she needed me, was hurt or tied up then it would kill me to know I just sat outside" WHY didn't the detective ask "how did you know she didn't need you?" But nope, just silence from the detective. The detectives investigating this case are about as bad as the Chandler, AZ detectives that investigated the death of Charles Vallow.

It's pretty obvious to the detectives as well. The problem is they have to be able to prove it to a jury and they only get 1 shot at that. No reason to blow it just to have some new evidence come to light and not be able to prosecute.

The guy who went down for it did provide a murder weapon. He's not innocent. You don't just hand people your registered gun and think nothing of it

He was clearly in on it with her otherwise he would have been straight in that door. His lack of emotion, the fact that he bounced straight to this woman after her death, the jovial nature of his discussion after being told his wife was executed. Driving around waiting for police to arrive first. And then all of the evidence that one obviously would have been destroyed or removed if taken, and if the purpose was just to kill the woman, you wouldn't also go and take her belongings and keep them unless you were planning on having a fall guy to plant evidence on. They were hoping they would get away with it cleanly, but when pressure rose and the spotlight turned to them, they finally decided to plant all of the evidence, and report him so that they could get all of the attention off themselves. Plus the way the fall guy spoke was not that of a guilty man. That was genuine surprise and fear. They had planned this together from the beginning to remove his wife from the picture. When she found out Des was pregnant that was their time to do it otherwise he wouldn't be able to leave her.

not really. i dont know anything about this guy but i do know autistic people(and im speaking from experience as i have autism) show little to no emotion at all i remember when i grandpa died from cancer i looked around at the other people at the funeral trying to cry because i really loved my grandpa but i was worried people would think i didnt care because i showed no emotion whatsoever. its also easy to tell a story if you are being honest but thats why alot of questions are needed because if someone is lying they will eventually slip up.

People in the comments like to think how someone "should" react in a situation like this, they assume how they will would react but you don't actually know until you are faced with this situation. People handle information/grief and stress differently. Autism and other mental health factors can play a role in how someone reacts to situations such as these but are conclusive in how they will react. there is no "normal" when it comes to grief. So don't worry. I have been on far end of the spectrum when it comes to showing emotion from distraught, to cold and distance. The impact of the stressors and how my mind was handling stress at those times had many different variables.

Again, i am disregarding this video and actions taken by this individual, i am just tired of seeing statements criticise action taken during a possible armed conflict. If you have never had a weapon fire at you with intent to kill i strongly suggest refraining from making statements on what should be done when a conflict with firearms may be involved. I'm rolling with this theory also. It makes the most sense after hearing the strange stories from Scott and Paige. She literally described the whole murder and was the only one who could actually benefit from des being out the way, plus the whole "He (i) wanted her to have an open casket funeral" that was dark AF. About 15-20% are very worked up and have to be controlled but they’re still compliant and helpful. About 1 in 200 are absolutely hysterical and cannot be controlled or calmed down and it’s difficult to get any info from them.

EXTREMELY overpriced Food, telecommunications, security, health services, uniforms, supplies and maintenance, IT, construction, consulting AND cheap labor (5 cents per hour/slave wages), .etc. each prisoner = hundreds of thousands of profit PER YEAR (paid by YOUR tax dollars), sometimes MILLIONS (especially if sick)! we have 2 million prisoners in US, MANY ARE INNOCENT!

He had a total "So anyway..." reaction to the news that someone, Anyone, had been found shot dead in his home, never mind that he was so 'worried' about his 'strangely silent' wife that he'd called the police to go to the property.

I wouldn't use emotions or lack of to judge guilt, but the lack of inquiry by him as to the gravity of the situation and his wilful delay in getting to the house or inside while being so "concerned" as to call police about her obviously points to his guilt.

Even if you didn’t like your spouse you’d certainly react to the fact that a female body was found in your house and you couldn’t get ahold of your wife.Some things you absolutely can judge.

I've had a few interactions with police where I wasn't the one in trouble and they're just getting info and everytime they ask to talk to me they then tell me to take a deep breath and that I'm not in trouble and they don't think I did anything they just want some info. My family has always teased me that my guilty look is what's gonna get me in trouble, not that I did something but I looked like I did something and was hiding it. People who can lie so easily and be so calm terrify me because how can you know what what's real

Yes he def staged the robbery, but only to throw suspicion that they were burglarized week prior, so that could have been the murderer. Still gives no defense to why he wouldnt go into the house.
