When the ultrasound shows no baby 

I was told I was around 6 weeks and saw nothing in my ultrasound, just the sac (vaginal ultrasound). I was so worried and couldn’t stop thinking about it. My doctor told me to come back in 2 weeks when I would be 8 weeks to see more. I went yesterday and there baby was! I was so relieved. My best advice to you is don’t look things up, it’s good to do research but don’t freak yourself out. You know your body and your pregnancy is going to be different from everyone else! What’s going to happen is inevitable so just relax and let it happen!❤️ Best of luck to you!!

My wife and I went thru the same, all we saw was a empty sac. She was suppose to be 7 weeks but dr. Says it looks like she’s a little early. We were so afraid and prayed everyday. Now we are 20 weeks and have a upcoming healthy baby boy

This happened to me in September 7 weeks into my 3rd pregnancy. But God works in mysterious way i came back and there she was smiling. She is about to be 2 next year.

I can't remember when I had my first ultrasound...it was pretty early on. The OB saw something similar - a sac, but that was it. It turned out that it was just early on in my pregnancy...and obviously, everthing turned out fine. ❤️

I just had a checkup earlier but the OB saw nothing in my ultrasound and was asked to have a blood test to confirm my pregnancy and how far along I am. I’m really quite anxious about it while waiting for the result to come tomorrow. This is my first and an unexpected one, with all these symptoms raging, so I’ve been a nervous wreck. But thankfully I found this video, and it somehow reassures me. All I have to do is to trust the Lord’s work, and whatever it is, He’s still in control in everything.

Super comforted by this video, since i had my ultrasound earlier and no fetus had shown 😭😭😭, after two weeks will be my next appointment , praying for positive results

With my last pregnancy, the midwife was unable to find a heartbeat on Doppler at 14 weeks. I had a total anxiety spiral and had an elective ultrasound a week later at a private ultrasound place. Everything was 100% fine and my daughter is now a healthy four-year-old. I hope that's reassuring...it sucks when they can't find the heartbeat, but it's not uncommon early on.

Dont worry cant found your baby in 6 week your ultrasound scan..i had same problem..but after 7 week..l went meet doctor then i could see my babe in my womb..im so happy

Thank you for giving me hope I have been down since yesterday that I was told that there is no feta pole but my doctor advised I should repeat d scan in one week time, I pray that there will be a positive results by next week

This video gave me hope went for a sonar two weeks back and nothing was seen just praying that it was too early and everything turns out fine on my next visit

Thank you for that encouragement. I did my second scan at 6weeks and was told no fetal pole was seen and irregular gestation. I am praying for a miracle the next time in go for a scan.

Thanks for this video. Went today was told there are no signs of miscarrying and my sac is intact but no embryo and I’m 10 weeks got scared. But this video helped. I was told it’s a late bloomer don’t understand what that means since I can’t find anything but this video helped to calm down.

Hello, this totally happened to me came back two weeks later about 8 weeks and baby measurements at 6 weeks. Some times baby is to small to be seen.

Had terrible back pain then went to the ER, they did urine and blood test, I was diagnosed with an UTI, I'm not sure though if it was the UTI that caused me this pain, they made sure my baby was okay, I am 6 weeks and 3 days now but at that time I had just turned 6 weeks but they didn't see not fetus or heart beat with neither and transvaginal or abdominal ultrasound. I wasn't bleeding, my belly wasn't hurting or nothing, Just my back. My Hcg levels showed 1800 and they told me that it showed I was too early in the pregnancy. This is my 1st child, and I am concerned, they have done more blood testing to make sure my HCG levels are increasing. I have a ultrasound on Oct. 8th, hopefully this time there's a fetus and a heartbeat, I have been really faithful, drink all my medicines and vitamins, water every single day, and a healthy diet. Hopefully, in the name of Jesus Christ I will be able to see a baby by OCT 8th am Excited and Confident that there will be a baby and a heart beat and that everything will be fine.

I just came from the doctor's today with this same news, I do have an appointment in two days . Hope for the better for me please!!

I am 11 weeks and did 2 ultra sound in 2 days to confirm and I have a empty sack..I am not giving up..I am praying God will let my baby show up .I had a heart beat at 6 weeks and I can't see the baby no more

I’m currently going through this I’m supposed to be 7 weeks 6 days and there was nothing showing on the ultrasound so they had to check my levels praying my next visit we see a baby

I had a miscarriage last year. I did alot of ultrasound but the sac was empty. The doctor said it was a blighted ovum only after I miscarried at 10 weeks. I had to undergo d&c. Today i got a positive pregnancy test but im scared to have an ultrasound or to have a check up. Honestly I was not happy or excited whenI got the pt result. In my mind all i can think about is what if its the same. What if I miscarried again.

Me feeling sad for 2 days now. I did 4 home pregnancy test that results Positive but when I had my transvaginal ultrasound 2 days ago the Dr. said it's Negative for pregnancy, no sac seen, she said maybe its too early or ectopic, she requested for blood test which I will have tomorrow and a repeat ultrasound after 1 month. Praying and hoping that I will have my first pregnancy.❤

Hello I’m a 19 year old teenager boy and I got my girlfriend pregnant we just found out about 3 days ago that she is pregnant but she’s been getting stomach pains and we went to the ER to get a ultrasound since the doctor appointment is about 2 weeks out and they said nothing showed up in the ultrasound 😞 I’m not gonna give up hope but it was really sad hearing that I hope it’s jusy too early on they said follow up in 2 days but I feel We should wait longer Im just really sad and stressed but hoping for the best I know god is always watching over me and he is good hopefully everything is okay 🙏

My ultrasound at ER had no baby or sac. I bled some, but not anything super heavy. I had some pregnancy symptoms that didn’t correlate with my low hCG levels. I didn’t have any cramps. Was told my husband and I had a miscarriage. I’m still feeling pregnancy symptoms. I feel like there is a baby though.

I had my first ultrasound last Wednesday, I was 7 weeks 5 days, the doctor said he can only see small sac, he ordered lab, my hcg level came out 91,000, and he asked to go back in 2 weeks. I’m very stressed and worried.

Exactly 6 weeks when I did my first ultrasound due to bleeding. Only sac and yolk were seen. Will do another ultrasound after 1 week. 🙏

I am pregnant for second time. First one was a miscarriage. I got brown discharge and lower abdominal cramp on the day i expected period. Did a pegnancy test and it turned out possitive. Ten days later i got more than usual brown discharge and constant lower abdominal cramp so i went to ER. They did hcg test and an ultra sound. My hcg was 258 and nothing showed in the ultrasound. They told me i might get miscarry again because hcg was low than normal, or it might be too early to see anything or it can be an ectopic. They sent me home. I did another blood test 2 days later and hcg was 190. Dr told me that i got miscarriage. So do another blood test 4 days later. Hcg jumped to 1750 and ultrasound showed small cyst. Doctor also confused at that point so they asked me to do another hcg test. 2 days later it was 3100. So they asked me to wait for 4 more days and do hcg and ultrasound again. I did that today and my hcg is 5020 (not doubling/ slow rising) nothing showed up in ultrasound except fo a very tiny 3mm cyst again.at this time i had no more discharge and cramp. they confirmed that this is not a viable pregnancy and there is chance it is an ectopic. I dont feel any sharp pain, faint, or what so ever...they told me that if it is an ectopic pregnancy i should feel painful by now simce my hcg is more than 5000. They told me to do another blood test this friday and another one with ultrasound next tuesday. I am really scare since most of people must have something when hcg is greater than 2000. Today is tuesday and i have to wait for one more week

Did they do a vaginal or stomach ultrasound? If they tried to see it on the stomach it's extremely hard to see. I thought the same thing when I had to get one done but we went and did a vaginal one and he/she was there and going strong

I booked an early scan for the day after I found out I had no idea how far along I was, and they couldn't see anything, she told me it might be because im too early, im going back on the 21st of this month and I'm so nervous, I've done a million tests and all are postive, just so nerve-wracking!

So a during Christmas week I had a confirmation that I was pregnant hcg level of 446 and they couldn’t see a sac or anything today I went back and they said they see a sac but they don’t see no fetal pole like it’s empty I’m panicking and freaking out is this normal they said my hcg level is now 12925 so I don’t understand how am I pregnant and blood work says positive they see a sac but no fetal pole? I got to go back doctor in few days does that mean my body is playing tricks on me ?So basically all they saw was a gestational sac but no yolk sac or fetal pole said not identified I’m so worried I just want to cry ….

My period cycle is 28 days regular on dot. I do not have any irregular period flow. My last period was on 15th August and I was due on 12th Sept however that did not eventuate till I made appointment to see the Doctor on the 12th Sept. I did preg test at home 4 times every after 5 days but negative. During this times I was feeling sleepy, painful breast, backach, cramps, eating more then used to, increase weight, on the 9th Sept I bleed for 2 days but I still went to see the doctor. Doctor did an abdominal scan but nothing was seen and ask me to observe my next period. Since then its 2 weeks and am having similar cramp and backach is starting now. If my bleed was my period then the next will be 9th Nov. However am confuse, am I pregnant? Is that a sign of other disease? Any advice on this situation. Thanks
