If there was such a thing as a god not just yours but any god then where is the proof? It's typical of christians and the lot to say someone if in pain or whatever because they are too scared to ask questions about there beliefs . Why don't you ask about the horrible things in your good book. Things like slavery, incest, genocide, killing people for various ridiculous reasons. Stop being a baby and grow up , ask questions.
@@gobucs3146Praying to Theotokos (Virgin Mary) is idolatry. By praying to her you exalt her to the same heights as God. God shares his glory with no one. Virgin Mary is to be admired as an example to what a woman of virtue should be not worshiped or prayed to. Our Lord is a jealous God and a consuming fire. Pray about it if you doubt what I am saying.
@@bobbysmith3610asking for intercession is idolatry? Do you even understand what you’re blaspheming against? I don’t “doubt” what you’re saying, I KNOW you’re completely wrong. You don’t even understand what Christ meant by “the only way to God is through Him”.
The single word prayer, in Greek has many defining terms, and definitions. The word prayer, does not have one definition to equal worship to then equal idolatry if used. Ex. Latria, Dulia, Hyperdulia (etc). There is a lower form of prayer to the Saints, a middle prayer to our Theotokos, and the highest form of prayer to God is the only type of prayer that is classified as worship. No other forms of prayer are ever understood in the history of Christianity to be worship, aside from the one to God. Intentions are everything. Every Christian should know their terms, and automatically know the type of prayer they're using.
Jesus died and fulfilled the law so we can have direct access to the Father. So we can be one in spirit with him. If you have direct access why pray for intercession? It defies logic. There is no instance in scripture when the fathers of old prayed to saints. Find me one scripture to support your perspective. It’s like saying Elijah prayed to Moses, or Elisha praying to Elijah.Saints are ‘gods’ and by praying to the you violate the very first commandment. If you have your Fathers phone number and need his help would you call your brother to get in touch with your father? You would call your father directly. It’s logic.
Why don't you answer some questions instead of saying crazy things ,like " I'll pray for you" or jesus this or jesus that. You have no answers for any of the questions I have asked ,do you?
And another thing, they have done actual studies on prayer and they know it does not work!. Like I said before if your god knows everything then why pray? Your mind is to far gone to understand reason.
Its simple. As a child your parents know more than you. Why ask for help? Are your parents the ones who dictate every single action and problem in your life? Or does life give you challenges along the way and ur parents have the power and experience to accomplish the goal with or without you?
It's simple , your parents were indoctrinated as well . That's how the religion scam keeps going. If you were not allowed to tell your kids about that stuff until the were 18 religion would finally be no more. Can you imagine at 18 your parents started talking about an invisible man in the sky. You would first laugh and then think your parents have mental problems.@@dkodesh
What hatred . I asked what is the point of praying to a made up invisible man in the sky. Also do not forget that there are thousands of other gods. What makes you think that you have the right one?
Hello friend, Christians do not believe in an invisible man in the sky, that’s a demiurge (neo-platonic/gnostic). God is not located in space time and is just as invisible as math or evolution is. I think you have a misunderstanding of the Faith, would you be interested in learning? Perhaps God has called you to this video.
I am not your brother so don't be silly. Do not "pray" for me. Help people instead of praying. Remember " two hands helping are better than a thousand hands praying". Also do you ever tell people about slavery in the bible, or incest, or genocide. Or how about killing your kids for disobedience, or killing girls that are not virgins before marriage,or killing gay people, or killing people for working on the sabbath ,etc, etc.etc. All from your religion's holy book!
Sorry that I do not know the answers to your questions, but I suggest that you find an Orthodox priest/father online. Send emails to them or even write questions underneath their RU-vid videos. Go to them with your questions, they will answer it for you!
There is a video on RU-vid titled ‘The “Evil” God of the Old Testament’ by Orthodox Banter with Bojan. I suggest you watch that, as it could clear some things up. His channel and ‘Bible Illustrated’ on RU-vid have useful videos that could also help you understand why those things happened and the misconceptions around it.
My questions should be your questions as well. You are just too indoctrinated to just ask your pastors or priests these questions . What are you afraid of? Getting to the truth?@@jsjsjsjssjsjsj5913
Your god knows everything right? Past ,present and future. So what the hell is the point of praying. Grow up and deal with your problems like an adult not like a little kid with an invisible friend.
where does this hatred come from? Jesus Christ has done nothing to you, has a 'christian' harmed u, cuz i assure u now, that the person whom hurt u will be judged by the Lord, but i ask with respect what ignites ur wrath like this?
