They say that to make them selves feel better and make you feel like worthless. They get a fake ego boost out of it. They either hating or just don’t know what they talking about
that kinda depends on whos talking a douche trying to humble brag or a homeless guy talking about how he had a loving family and a job like you, that you should appreciate your life when they are still around reminiscing about his past
Not always true when you have a communtity who helps and works for the wrong people and robs certain people out of a life since no one can do it alone@@NoBabiesThankU
@sstanford1331 i mean would you really say " AT ALL " i mean sure he does follow the same format but we can't deny that he did change for a bit at least right?
Depends. Complacency is a dream killer but in relation to a person's character if they're good, kind people then the sayin "never change" is more like a compliment.
I quite literally just had a similar thought today, so this video came in at the perfect time. I always say my dream is to be part of an orchestra, and yet here I am still not even learning a musical instrument to being with. I also said I'd hit the gym by a certain age, and so far I'm 2 years late.
This be annoying af. They tell you "you haven't changed" and you ask if it's good or not and have the audacity to say "that's up to you" bro you effin said it lmao Change for no one Griffy 👏🏼
@@BiggerBossN313yeah the worst kind of friend they don't want you to improve so they can feel Superior ,even though they also aren't doing s*** either originally you had ambitions they were met with reality it's not enough just to say you're going to do something you have to do it and then accomplish your goal everybody has a dream but will it survive reality is the question
Hope Griffy’s younger fans (high school up to 25) especially take this message into account. You’ll be fuckin SHOOK at how time flies by folks. Ask yourself if the excuses you give yourself as to why you haven’t started working towards whatever goal you have is ACTUALLY a valid excuse (spoiler alert: 99.5% of the time, it’s not). Nobody says you have to build Rome in a day, but simply STARTING to make whatever changes and progress you need to (AND STICKING TO IT), and whatever sacrifices you need to, will make a WORLD of difference to your future self when you’re young. I was the person in this video my teens and 20s. Always saying I’m gonna start losing weight this year, or I’m definitely gonna stop slacking in school this upcoming year, which turned into “I’m definitely gonna go back to school this year”. Said that all the way until one day I woke up pushing 30 and practically a fuckin bum, with a decade and a half behind me full of nothing but regrets. No place of my own. No savings. Still fat AF. Dead end job. That was my life because that was the life that I made the poor choice to work for, while kidding myself year after year that “tomorrow” would be the day I magically changed and I could have the same life as the people who had been progressing that entire time I was fuckin around. I don’t care who you are or where you are, TIME is the most valuable asset any of us have. I try not to dwell on it, but I can never get that time back that I wasted, and that will forever haunt me, what could’ve been if I had decided enough was enough sooner. For example: With the housing market as it is, I could’ve bought a house relatively dirt cheap and effortlessly multiplied my net worth from 2017-now, if I’d got my shit together when I should’ve. The sooner you start transforming, the easier it will be. Take it from someone who is now 31 and going to college classes with mostly kids 17-20 y/o, don’t be me. It’s embarrassing, even if you finally do wake up. (Most never do) Work towards a better future NOW, whatever that means for you. You’ll be surprised at how fast you get used to being more productive in your every day life, and how good it feels. For those of you around my age or older, late is better than never though. Ask yourself what you’ll feel if you’re still at the same exact place 5 years from now, that you are now. And then ask yourself if doing the same things and living the same type of life that you always have been has been working you get closer towards what you want your life to be. The very definition of insanity is repeating the same things, but expecting different results. Done with my Ted talk of the day.
damn, I was procrastinating by watching this video and after I read your comment, it got me in the feels but I realized I still have a buttload of time left, so thank you for your advice
Appreciate the advice man, ur comment has made me realise that getting my shit together just requires a few sacrifices, really puts it into perspective
What I would say is: Don't live your life the way another person thinks you should. If doing the same thing makes you happy and content, keep doing it. Be thankful for what you have because a lot of people have it a lot worse. Not everyone needs to be a billionaire celebrity or business owner.
Nice to see this today, I've been actually getting somewhere with my life for the first time in forever these past few months. Thanks for reminding me that I gotta keep it up 😂
I got a friend like this but they just keep gettin worse. That man inherited damn near half a million and spent every penny to cover up his 10 DUI’s. His actions led to a 16 year old girl getting killed and the only reason he didn’t go to jail for it was ONLY because he didn’t hit the car. They swerved to miss him and lost control and hit a telephone pole. He has not changed one bit. He’s never held a job for more than a year and has had his license suspend 13-14/16 years he has had one. All he talks about is the good times we did have after high school but damn that was 14 years ago. It’s so mind boggling to see someone frozen in time. Ain’t seen that dude in years. Also, if anyone ever hits you with “you changed man” and does it to try and bring you down, tell them you’re adapting and overcoming instead of bein stagnant and struggling
