The USA is an amazing place to ride. I am from the UK and I have been living in California for over 30 yrs and I have only seen a fraction. It has got more interesting since I started riding again about 6 yrs ago. It's the best way to see the States. I'm getting old, but I look forward to at least two more decades of experiences similar to yours.

I’ve ridden all over the North American continent. The Million Dollar Hiway is some of the most beautiful scenery there is. Definitely in the top ten in my opinion. Some of the turns are actually about five to ten miles an hour.

Buddy, you blew it, you did hit the nail on the head though when you commented that Ouray looked like a movie stage, actually it was from a very famous western, right around where you were walking just up the street is the old courthouse that John Wayne movie that was True Grit, part of the scene was shot in the old court house, Silverton is a very cool town as well, then Durango, then 4 corners and famous place Mesa Verde is a must as well, enjoy your content as well.
