This is true, I've been trying to get a lot more physical media lately, because the future is just so uncertain. I'd prefer to know that escapism is always there for me, somewhere within reach. Uncensored and how it's meant to be. I'm putting this one higher up on my list, considering the godawful time we're living in now.
Herman’s head! His best friend was the guy who does Apus voice! I can’t remember his name of hand but I remember the show! His four emotions fighting in his head. Why isn’t that on Nick at Nite?
Woke larvae would avoid him . Most understood it was a joke . Life was about not being thin skinned and having fun . Friends from all cultures and races loved the show . Everyone had a blast and took it all for what it was . Nothing serious, just picking on one another and kidding around. Then loading up to a party and having great get togethers while throwing the latest jokes at one another with no malice .
On Sundays my parents would go bowling and I’d have tv all to myself for like four hours and I remember that I’d watch married with children and then the next hour after that In Living Color was on. I laughed for almost two hours straight. I miss the time when people weren’t so sensitive about everything.
Dont forget _all in the family, sanford & son,_ & _kojak._ Political incorrectness is a gross misconstruation for "freedom of speech" Getting through school meant enduring 12 years of put-downs while remaining unaffected. _Harassment_ is just another word for _LOVE._ When our classmates & friends STOPPED harassing us, its was a bad sign. Many a boomer grew up the same way Anyone who couldn't deal with that was automatically labelled "sheltered," or "crybaby." Im censored if I use the actual words. For me, my oriental, mexican, & black friends to speak freely, I must make sure my late geny/ early genz children arent around to be shocked & offended. They have no idea what free speech really is
This is what GenX grew up on ….it is why we are not safe for work. We are not PC, we are not woke, we are not sensitive and we definitely aren’t triggered easily. And we Still crack jokes like this on each other.

Quick witted, clever and undeniably genuinely funny in everysense of entertainment, which transcends what sitcom Television should be like! Purely entertainment. Anyone who is offended needs to re-evaluate their own character.
He didnt feed them (they stole food), didnt clothe anyone including himself (took clothes from charity or stole it), payed minimal utilities, car and house were inherited. They actually showed them dumpser dive for food in one episode.
@@johnbuglethorp5921 Uh, Katey Segal has playing on several highly successful tv series and many movies. I'd say, monetizing their total take, that Katey, and then Charlie Hunnam have made more money.
@@hammbone6073 To know that, you must be the one putting the shoes on him. Good for you. Since kneeling is where you are most comfortable, I applaud you in following your dream. And, knowing your right foot from your left foot must give you the ultimate satisfaction. Happy you found your lot in life.
The idea that we should "accept" things that are unhealthy or trashy is so absurd, but for the snowflakes, the more absurd the better. "fat-shaming, slut-shaming," defending criminals, defending aggressive disruptions, riots, looting...one has only to stop and think to see how absurd. But of course, rational thought is a tool of white supremacy, so...
2:52 was one of my all-time favorite insults. I grew up watching this guy and even tho I've always been an overweight woman myself, I loved him and this show.
This is why i bought the whole series on dvd as soon as i found it. Before long, they'll start editing out all the "problematic" (funniest) stuff, and the only place you'll be able to watch it uncut is if you have the discs.
Well, wasn't this a Fox property? Which is now owned by Disney, who already went and edited out "problematic" stuff from their older cartoons, like the siamese cats song from Lady & the Tramp, or who feel the need to put up warnings for things like the crows in Dumbo. So yeah, you may be onto something.
@@EvenTheDogAgrees it's already started with subsidiaries of fox like FX. There's entire episodes of It's Always Sunny that have been scrubbed from any and all streaming platforms and will not be available even on disc going forward. Trust me, get physical media of your favorite movies and shows before it's too late.
@@etssmith2107 Yeah, that was a great episode. Bud and Kelly pooled their money together to buy a car, Al registered it as a farm vehicle to save money on the insurance but there had to be a chicken inside the car if it was being driven. Then Bud and Kelly went somewhere and didn't want to deal with the chicken, so they put it in the closet near the front door.
It’s unfortunate that comedy is now censored. Especially since it isn’t censored equally across the board. So many shows “used” to be funny. Now, the current current television lineup offers nothing more than smut, indoctrination, and phoniness. I love my antenna TV, and only watching entertainment produced prior to 1975.
The 90s and early 2000s was when race relations and comedy were at their best, no woke crap, bo “political correctness” everyone had a sense of humor about themselves and others and it was just good times
All the snowflakes and feminists are offended by everything now. I watched smokey and the bandit again recently, some of the funniest lines snd scenes ever filmed. Cant imagine them trying ro produce it or great shows like married with children nowadays.
I have every episode on DVD and know all these insults by heart but loved this compilation anyway! Just can't get enough of Merried with Children since 1987 and I was 11 years old, Every Sunday On Fox I was glued. Then I watched the syndication everyday I could. What sucks is if you watch them now in our times syndication they are cut up and sensored, I just can't stand how people nowadays are so sensitive to a few laughs.
Brings back memories. We weren't so sensitive back then. I remember when I was in primary school, my mother taught me: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never harm me." On weekends, my friend and I (and our brothers) left home early, went swimming, rode our bikes, rode skateboards, went to the park and a lot more. We did chores like mowing the lawn (you'd even be roped in at a friends house), taking out the garbage and washing dishes. We got our butts whipped with a belt, cane (rod) or paddle. Like Al, our teachers were happy to throw insults around and call students names - even calling some students "oxygen thieves" when they scored low on tests or exams. Maybe the best TV show to show the kind of life we lived back then is "The Wonder Years", set in the seventies. Personally, I'm an eighties kid. Most of us were all much happier and much safer back then.
