Board 3: When in dummy with the Q of spades, ruff the last club. If hearts are breaking 3-2 play 3 rounds ending in dummy making sure you unblock the 10 in hand and run the diamond 10. If it is covered you cover as cheaply as possible. If it wins you return to dummy with a heart and finesse the 9. If it wins you make 13 tricks and if it loses you either get a ruff and discard if a club is returned or you get a free diamond finesse.

On board #3 (approx. at the 5:30 mark) after pulling all of the Opponent's trump, taking 2 rounds of H (King first, then the Ace) would reveal if Hearts split 3-2, or possibly the Jack falls. If so, you can toss one of Dummy's Diamonds on your Heart Ten to guarantee the contract, and you can then safely try a finesse of the Diamond King thru East for an overtrick. If the 4th trick in Hearts doesn't develop, you can still try the double finesse in Diamonds.

Thank you for your comments. If we are looking at the same hand, you have 4 hearts and 3 diamonds in each hand, so there is no chance to discard on the hearts.

The takeaway from this seems to be that, perversely, you are more likely to want to be in a NT slam with an unbalanced hand because, with a, more balanced hand and a 4-4 fit (as in the 6S contract) you only make 4 tricks in that suit in NT but can make more if you use one or more for ruffing in a trump contract. i.e. with an unbalanced hand you use length to discard losers and with a balanced hand you use "spare" trumps to ruff losers
