If the patient is 70 yrs old , showing proliferation of lymphocytes every month , the platelets are depleting & occasionally fatiguing though doesn’t show other symptoms like weight loss , or night sweating. Should he be kept under observation or needs medical intervention
Tim I was just diagnosed with CLL and was told to watch and wait. I googled everything I could on this and decided to start with diet. No sugar. OK In the past I loved sugar but was also told in Feb. I was diabetic. Both were a surprise for me. So with two diseases that require no sugar this was "my" first step. Are there any free clinics near you or charity hospitals. You might look into that also call the 800 number of the leukemia society You more or less have to be your own Dr. and do research on your own. Doctors have a tendency to move you through the loops until you get really sick. Watchout for any lumps in the lymph pathways as this is one of the first signs of progression. Do the watch and wait method. Avoid sugar, fried foods, dairy, meats and etc of the sorts.
