I do understand that there are some parents that have their way of controlling their children even when they’re grown but your mental health is important! I’d say figure you out a plan and write out as many pros and cons of living on your own. Ask yourself are you able to afford 3x the rent on top of utilities, food, gas, and entertainment. For these next two months put aside rent money, utilities, groceries, and any other bills you are paying now and see if you can maintain it. If so, go for it. If not, figure out what you think would be best for you financially.

Hey love, I’d say go for whatever you can afford. Try these next months and act like you’re paying bills in your own place to see if you can handle it. For example, put aside money for rent, utilities, phone bill, cable & internet, Netflix/hulu, car, insurance, groceries, personal needs, and any other bills you may have once you move. If you can save two months worth of doing that, I’d say go for it!

Girl your still young I wish my Mother was alive I wish I can stay with my parent I live by myself sweetie and I am 25 it is not easy sis! I”ma tell you this right now! Save your money as much as you can while staying with your Parents cause living by yourself sis is not easy! You have to know how to budget your money. If you do not know how to budget your money you are going to have a hard time plus you got a baby too! Girl I wish my Mom was a live right now I wish I can stay with her! Don’t move too fast take your time! I am telling you listen to me I’ve been there and done that! I’ve got kicked out of my first apartment when I was pregnant with my baby I lost my job due to my pregnancy! Then I had loss my child due to stillborn! I was homeless sleeping in my car I had no place to go! I was staying in the shelter! This happens when I was 22 yr old! Be wise and be smart if you move out make sure you got your money stack first! I live on my owe I stay by myself!

Came back to update, I move out in 12 days into my apartment ‼️❤️ 20 my son just turned 1 yesterday. I have been budgeting well with my budget binder. I am seriously so exited

Same but I’m soon to be 24 on Monday in I definitely agree it’s hard out here but we have to find that good paying job . Then they will tell you to go to college all them Years in graduate I’m still can’t find a job plus paying pack in student loans and then gushing your check every month that’s even worse and sad 😢 school system have to be better college students just want to successfully and worried about the extra stuff

How are you know as of today I’m assuming you 24 so we both the same age while I’ll be 24 on Monday I would say save your money until you feel like you financially stable to move out don’t be rush just because you feel like it by your age the society we in make it seems like we have be at a certain standard like others but In Reality it not stay 🙏 god got us for sure

Majority of women don’t be 100% ready to move out of their parents house until they’re 25+ so don’t feel discouraged!!! The goal is to save at least 10 grand so that you can be set for a while. But 3 grand works if you wanna jump sooner. It’s okay, talk to your mom....

@@kreanee7242 I’ve asked so many people the specific amount to save before leaving and living COMFORTABLY because I do NOT want to struggle and I like nice things and going out to eat so I want to maintain that. No one has been able to say a specific amount but thankfully I found your account. I’m almost to that goal of 10. I just over think so much and I never feel like it’ll be secured enough. Plus still living at home rn at 20. On top of the drama at home, I feel like my family puts so much obligation on me and my other siblings to the point where I know I’ll be able to do it on my own. If I can help at home and still take care of what I need then I should be okay. I’m just nervous to take that step.

Before you move look into some places that you think you’ll like, schedule a tour to view the property, ride through there when it’s dark, make sure you’ll be able to maintain everything... you got this , don’t down yourself

I turned on 24 on Monday I definitely fell you on this one I’m still staying with my parents I agree 25-26 is a good age to move out your parents house especially if you doesn’t have too many bills to pay save up 3 thousand in go apartment shopping and build up your credit that’s why I’m in the mix of doing it getting my credit right and build it up the correct way

If you’re staying with your parents, you can work for non profit organizations, they pay for school or get in on a good scholarship. Other than that, out of state colleges are extremely expensive unless you have around 30 grand laying around for each year ☹️. Or have you considered working for the state? Many jobs pay for school

It depends on your spending budget/monthly expenses. I think whatever decision you make you’ll be fine. Just remember to pace yourself, you’re still learning 😉
