That Carrie that Henry ate was 25% yellow on top and you saw how orange and rich it was inside. Carrie picking has completely different color break criteria than most other mangoes. If one waits for a Carrie to go just a tiny bit too far past color break it goes from great to unpalatable. I hated Carrie for years because my first and only tree was a Haden and I let my Carries’ keep ripening till they looked like Haden’s. When I figured it out and cut them open way earlier they were shockingly good!! Are you really a sleep doctor?
