@@Kdnnxthat lasts for 8 hours man. You should also take everything the Pokédex says with a grain of salt, as Charizard would one shot every Pokémon if he could melt everything as the Pokédex says he could.
Imagine you're a shadow pokemon being caught, thinking you're about to be freed and purified, but your trainer decides to keep you in your shadow form because you do slightly more damage
There is also a case that I don’t if it happens often. If your Pokémon is very bulky and its defense is a lot higher than it’s attack, then they are better purified in pvp
Hundos add almost nothing at all to your pokemons stats. Only time its noticeable is probably when the ivs are around 50 lower (i dont really play pokemon go so idk how to say it but ivs still dont add much) so keep your ursaluna shadow cause looking cool is better than adding 1 point to hp or something
@joijiparra if you look at the states you can see they are close to filling out I don't know the exact amount but if you see a bar is almost filled purifying it will fill it the rest if the way
You also forgot some of the most important info..it's cheaper on stardust when purified and it's also a good strategy for getting XL candy. You purify, evolve, then transfer...if an event gives you XL for transfers....sometimes you get a chance at additional XL when it's evolved...
Does more damage - is this based on per second? In a raid, there are so many variables that will impact how long a Pokémon stays in battle for. If a purified (or normal) Pokémon does the same damage but over a longer period of time - that may not help you short man a raid, but it could help if you don’t have a deep enough selection of Pokémon. (You can power up the one a few more levels due to reduced costs). That said I wouldn’t encourage purifying and raid/pvp meta Pokémon unless you have spares, or don’t care about that stuff and just want the hundies.
still gonna purify them. except my moltres, took me a bit too long to my taste just to get enough candy to purify 1 legendary like with mewtwo and zapdos.
I have 3 shadow Mewtwo from the shadow raids, one as a psychic raid attacker and one as an Ice raid attacker. Should I purify the third for Go Battle League? (and also will it boost the level dispite already being over level 25?)
The only time I purified was for my level 44 mission which was to purify 100 pokemon... had to do it to get to 45. And one other pokemon to have a hundo mega but other than that I don't it's too expensive and I like the extra damage
Should i do my metagross? And my magnazone? Already purified golem and Tyranitar. Thx guys (keep in mind metagross does in fact have a mega) Golem probably an improvement and Tyranitar for obvious reasons *mega*
But, sometimes you should purify them because some shadow Pokémon will have 300 power or something and after purifying them they can have 3000 power, but mostly goes with legendary shadow pokemon
I have a 98 percent shadow charmander. Part of me wants to purify so I can have a hundred charizard, but idk if it's worth it since it's stronger as a shadow.
I have a shadow larvitar that’s IV’s are 3-3-12. Should I purify it, and just transfer it (for medal) or keep it and evolve and power up into a Tyranitar? This is my only shadow larvitar, and idk if people are expecting for shadow larvitar to come back.
Just an good example, I got a near 100IVs shadow Ralts, i purified her, change the moves and mega evolve and now she is a 4000+pc mega Gardevoir hundo... If i didnt purified i couldn't mega
I would argue that you probably should. Once perfect you are more likely to power it up, you can use for mega benefits, it still has use/purpose. But most importantly it isn’t likely to be replaced it’s already the best it can be no Charmander/eleon/izard you catch going forward is going to be better than it. It is a permanent trophy. (Well except a shiny Hundo).
I have shadow mewtwo and Latios from Giovanni and I just now know this because before i purified my Golett so it could because a HUNDO was it worth it Yes and no is commenting 👇
IMO - Win. As a non hundo shadow the ivs can always be improved. Purified the cans/candy XL cost to max is reduced vs normal and dust reduced also vs shadow. Chances are you are more likely to use if it is powered up and chances are you are more likely comfortable to power up if it is a Hundo. Either way it is still very useable. Perfect ivs are forever trophies.
There are actually a few reasons why someone may wish to keep it in shadow form. As mentioned a shadow Pokémon does 20% more damage, this equates to higher damage per second (dps). Higher dps could help one player carry their weaker friends. If everyone has higher dps they can complete the raid with less people or can complete raids much faster, May be important if trying to do as many raids as possible on raid days or with elite raids and formerly ex raids. Yes it has less defence, and means you will likely go through more Pokémon per raid. If you get a perfect IV shadow Pokémon - why would you purify? It is considerably rarer, a real trophy.
I'm really stupid. I purified my shadow shiny tiranitar recently. But also not so stupid, 'cause I had a shadow Dragonair that I purified, that ended up being a hundo! (My first too) :D
