Can confirm the tip with the higher elevations. Last year, I visited Kawaguchiko in early April and the trees were all still in full bloom, while the blossoms in Tokyo were almost all fully gone.

You don't use 30 years average to gauge the cherry blossoms. Given high temperatures, cb will arrive early. Use last year as an estimate

Turns out this year's blossoms are towards the late end of the 30 year average and more than a week later than 2023, so maybe that suggests just looking at the previous year isn't the best strategy?

Do you happen to know which website would provide when the Lake Kawaguchiko area would bloom? specifically the Chureito Pagoda, hehehehehe. Thanks in advance. So far I don't see it listed anywhere.

You can usually see them between mid-January and early February.
