This tautog/blackfish trip chronicles a November 9, 2019 1/2 day trip with John Skinner (we literally fished from 7:30 to 11:15). Right before this, I had 6 straight blackfish "jig" Charters where a lot of my customers were first time jiggers.
I spent a lot of the time coaching these customers, explaining when to set the hook (basically, avoid all the "taps" and wait for the hard thump or the running/swimming away of the jig.
This video chronicles some of that and hopefully my rod tip shows up clearly enough for all to understand.
