I live in Northern Victoria. Up until 2020 we had no fruit fly. Now they are out of control getting into our fruit and vegetables. We try to grow a lot of our own food but the last two years has been heart breaking. For example out of 10 kg peaches picked we only got 2 kg that were any good. I could have cried. We have tried nearly every organic spray and traps on the market as well as home made traps. Nothing is working. Do you have any suggestions. I am also going to buy fruit fly nets to try them but as we have 20 fruit trees that is going to be expensive.
Vasili what lime do I put in my garden when I dig up the soil many people put lime leave for a couple of days then turn the soil over before planting vegetables thanks frank
If you are hoping to spray them for leaf curl it's a bit late to start now, but you could give it a go. This needed to begin at roughly the first sign of leaf fall in Autumn. If you have flowers coming up you can't spray until they set fruit.
@@vasilisgardenofficial I already have and all I got was blame shifting onto Auspost. If you want my return business you should get on the phone to them. It is disgraceful
