Dear Doctor, my father just diagnosed Parkinson with hand shaking but still doesn’t affecting his life yet. However, he has been prescribed Madopar 25mg and 3 times a day. I am wondering is Madopar same as Levodopar?
Madopar is levodopa with Benserazide. Sinemet is levodopa with carbidopa, and carbidopa and Beneseride are the "helpers." To my knowledge, Madopar is not available in the USA, and I do not use it.
