I wanted the Charlie sculpt so much but when I got him, I really didn't like the big smile. I put him away for months. When I got sick, I ran across him. That big smile made me smile through the pain. He also made everyone else smile. The whole time I was sick and all through the pain, my Charlie sculpt, who I named Captain Russ made me smile every time I looked at him. He is still one of my tip favorites and my go to doll when I need a smile

Yeah, sometimes we just have to try to ride it out when it comes to our dolls. And with the things you went through, it’s no wonder you started having negative feelings. I’ve never been victim to the nastiness spewed out by some of the sculptors, but I do have an authentic Saskia, so my solution to all the nonsense was to go out and get a made-over replica of the same sculpt. Glad you’re safe!

She is freaking adorable!!! Glad you are safe!! ❤We have been having some storms lately, mostly flooding in some areas!!!! I usually can bond with all the babies ( I only have a few reborns anyway)but sometimes if I get another new doll I kind of forget about the other dolls and focus on the new one and hence I feel bad like forget the old and on with the new!!!! I watched the Doll Cottage video and kind of felt bad for that baby she couldn’t bond with , I know I must be crazy!!! I was like send her to me!!! I’ll bond with her !!! lol!!!😂

You know, I have a really cute AA baby that my ex-husband bought me for one of my birthdays once, when we were together. I thought of letting Kingsley (my baby) go, because of this association, but then I looked at his precious face, and thought “NAH! WOT AM I THINKING!” 😂 So, Kingsley is still with me today ❤ Love your baby too ❤

You have inspired me. I have a Saskia and I guess it's way past time to order her eyes from McPherson.. that kit alone was a hundred dollars and she's been in the closet for years. 😂

I put a doll that I'm tired of feel Luke I can't bond with her. I pack her away like in closet and maybe layer I ll start missing her, and I'd ge t her back out.

Good chat! If something about a baby really bothered me, I sold it. Some dolls don't get all that much attention because I suddenly have so many again (More than I planned on having, lol) but I still enjoy having them. And a few I had been thinking of selling but now I'm glad I didn't. What you said really reasonated with me.

Hi Springflower, I’m so glad you’re okay. Thank God. Ernesto had me worried. Little Coco is precious. Her outfit is beautiful. I’m glad you were able to get through those painful feelings and regain your love for her. I absolutely love the Saskia sculpt too. I wanted her and Levi so bad when I first discovered reborns. Little Ava Pearl is a beautiful baby. She does have that classic baby look. I love qll of your Saskia babies.Their sculpter turned me off for sure, but I still love my Saskia babies. I had six at one time, but I had to make some room in here, so I did give four away. I had six Levis too. I’m down to four now. I have a very small place, so that forces my hand at times. I always miss my babies and regret getting rid of them. I’m so glad all is pretty well for Bermuda. Be well & take care.

Glad everyone was safe and so glad you didn’t sell your baby I went through that not liking a baby for 8 months then I made some changes in her and now she’s a forever baby so you are so right about giving yourself time before selling a baby your feelings could absolutely change for the baby ❤

How much do these dolls cost on average? They look so real I know they must be an expensive hobby.

Thank you Jesus Bermuda made it through the hurricane...I definitely enjoyed this video and I been through this myself but now I really take my time and don't make the rash decisions because I do miss a few of those I've parted with. My nieces are so cute love their outfits🥰🥰🥰🥰

So happy to know you’re safe and it was not much damage! Unfortunately I’ve tried with my doll I received there was never a bond with the baby I tried dressing her and I just decided it’s best to put her up for sale perhaps/hopefully someone will buy her and they will bond ❤
