I don’t know if I’m the only one who gets this when I play/watch Veigar, but I get an intense rush of excitement when I see that ult zooming towards someone and watching them getting wiped out
Zwag, just FYI, once the tear item upgrades, it gives 1.3% ability haste of bonus mana. so on seraphs that 860 mana is 11.18 ability haste; then the 600 mana on liandrys gives 7.8 ability haste; and lastly liandrys mythic passive also grants 5 ability haste... so by not completing tear you're losing out on 23.98 ability haste
you do still lose haste when you upgrade if your tear isn't stacked because archangels only gives 0.5% haste so with a tear that is one off fully stacked you only get 3 haste down from 10. Even with liandry's and transformed to seraphs it still gives less haste than a cosmic drive. all you really get from the item is the bonus mana which you get from the tear already so it doesn't make sense to upgrade it really when all the other items you could build are way more impactful.

@@sylasmihnea9171 i think every game he checks the forst minion wave, if he misses one its 1 lose streak, lets say there is another game on another vid, he loses a minion in the first wave his lose streak is now 2, lets say he gets all minions the third game/vid he gets 1 winstreak, i think

From just the Seraph's Embrace, you get 11.18 Ability Haste. 1.3% of 860 Mana. I had to check the math since it seems weird the item could be worse after you upgrade it.

I love playing veigar because when some akali or whatever tries to outplay you with all the dashes and crap you can just press your skill button and do 2k point and click damage to their face.
The best sensation ever is getting harassed by a Zed or Akali that thinks just because their champion is broken they can do anything...then they die to a nice ball of 2k damage
I took veigar into mid lane again today in spellbook and it was way more effective than I thought. Veigar gets so much magic pen that he shreds tanks too with his massive ap amounts. I forgot how fun and simplistic playing him can be too
I don't think you know this, but there are no diminishing returns with Ability Haste. Ability Haste translates as follows: 100 Haste -> 100% more spells in the same time -> 1/2 of original cd a.k.a. 50% cd reduction 200 Haste -> 200% more spells in the same time -> 1/3 of original cd a.k.a. 66,67% cd reduction 300 Haste -> 300% more spells in the same time -> 1/4 of original cd a.k.a. 75% cd reduction This system is imho a huge improvement compared to the old one. (Also the old system seemed unbalanced since 30%->40% "looked" like a bigger improvement than 0%->10%.)
Hey Zwag as always wonderful video. Odd question I was watching a VOD from some of your ranked games on twitch and it errors out. After the error all the VODs from the last idk 3 weeks were just gone. Was that just me or were they deleted?
Funny zwag and heiz idea. Ross showed us that MF ultimate doesnt wake up people slept by zoe E so they have to eat the entire MF ult. The video was 8 days ago so I dont think its fixed, add more sleep champs for more funny haha
evolved seraph alone gives haste based on bonus mana also evolved seraph scales with 1,3% of the bonus mana instead of 0,5% Which is about 20haste on its own it may give nothing at first but once you evolve it on the 360 tear stacks it gives plenty of mana and also heals on mana used

Watching your Videos quite often lately and i have a question since you are a high elo Player. I am Silver(support)and started playing ranked again few weeks ago(was bronze last season). And of course i am a bad Player or not so good i would say but my Question is : Are low Elo ADCs as bad as my ADCs i get? i have an inting ADC almost every Game, Jumping in 1v2 when i am Base or roaming. not placing wards, not reacting to Pings , attacking the Tank Support first instead of the squishy adc etc. I mean that are basic thinks that even my Silver ass can do and my mates are very often much much worse even tho they are few divisions ahead of me :(
Like some other comments state, seraphs gives about 20 haste once fully upgraded. The item is pretty decent, considering it gives decent AP, health, and a bit of healing on spam builds
Congrats on the car, not sure what state you’re registering it in, but I bought a Ram 2500 the first week of July in Missouri and spent 1,100 on sales tax and another 200 on registration. DMV makes sure it always costs a bit of sanity, too.

The other upside to all this ability haste is annoying the carp out of people with E spam lol. Also Lich Bane can make for a good CDR item. It gives you a ton of move speed for kiting and powerful auto procs that get infinitely stronger. Frozen Heart can also work. It helps you not get bursted by AD champs, gives 20CDR on it's own, and more mana to make Seraph's CDR effect better.
you dont have diminishing returns on ability haste. thats the whole point of the cdr change in the first place. before when it was just additive % cooldown reduction, it was an exponential scaling. each % cdr allowed you to increasingly cast more and more abilities per second the more % cdr you already had. getting from 50% cdr to 55% cdr was a massive boost compared to getting from 0% cdr to 5% cdr. ability haste turned this into a linear scaling. its similar with armor and mr. people think that resistances have diminishing returns because of the way the % damage reduction is displayed, when thats not true. the way resistance really works is that each point armor and mr increases your effective health by 1% against that damage type. so it doesnt matter if you have 100 or 500 armor, the next point is still going to give you 1% total health against physical damage and is worth just the same as the first point.
Try a 6 Active Items build on a tank like Rammus, Singed, Volibear, Maokai, or Sion. Predator Boots, Turbo Chemtank, Gargoyle Stoneplate, Randuin's Omen, Zhonya's Hourglass, and Redemption. Bring Ingenious Hunter too for CD on the item actives.
That's why if they want to win the game, they should've pushed early and fight for ace so that Veigar will not be able to stack. The longer the game, the harder it geta for them to win.
Ad bralwer/tank nid. Runs Grasp of undying sunder, titanic, death dance, ap shield item or dead mans, warmogs. Allows you to execute people with your cougar q while being pretty much unkillable
Would be cool to see you swap mythic once the game is basically over to see the full one-shot potential of all that AP on something other than a DoT. Luden's so the magic pen helps you one-shot enemies, or another mythic that gives a ton of AP for even greater AP numbers.
seraphs isnt that bad for haste if you are stacking a decent amount of bonus mana from runes and mythic but is very much the weakest of the 3 upgrades, you'd probably gain more from getting the manamune for the extra proc on hits and surprise auto damage than the healing and ap
