Lawdy have mercy....I wish I had a time machine and go back in time! This is real music 🎶 and I grew up on. I guess that's why folks from my generation are so smooth and mellow 💝
My favorite group back in the day!!! “Cowboys to girls” was another favorite.❤️ ❤❤OMG!!!! That’s when groups SANG!! Temptations; Fantastic Four; Dramatics; The Originals;OJays and so many more!!!
Don't forget the CHILITES, and THE STYLISTICS and so many, many more. The parties and those hot summer nights when the music was coming out of every open window. What a beautiful time.
@@elainewalls3563 Girl!!! You ain’t lying!! I remember seeing the ChiLites at Henry’s Cocktail Lounge in The D! They pulled me up on the stage and Marshall put his bow tie on me, all the while Eugene Record was walking through the audience singing. I guess my horrible singing made him turn around to see what was going on and there I was singing and doing the routine with the group!!! Everyone got a good laugh!! That’s back when you could touch and actually talk to a singer without paying $1000 to have a chat with them 😂😂😂
All that I can say is that the 60's & the 70's was the truth. I was very young but the music was out there and in my home also because my sister's and brothers were record freaks period. I wanted so bad to be older to hang out and party. We'll never get that Mellow civilized love inspired music again. 😢
We have the same wish… I can remember around 77. , I was 5 years old and can vividly remember my family and their friends over my auntie’s house and Earth Wind and Fire was playing and everyone is talking and laughing I wouldn’t go to bed… finally my uncle would call me over and sit me on his lap and say here Eli , drink some of this soda and by time I was half done it was the next day. They would put a little rum in the coke a cola , just enough to gently glide me to dreamland. And never any fight or gun play!
You've not lied this was my era with shows , 45 's and albums . My sister now deceased always brought them from neighborhood record stores , we would as well be at the shows when they came to town " Philly " this group was from north Philly . Times have changed so much she would be the person I could go down memory Lane with we were that close 😢❤❤❤❤
@@dawnpratt846 You brought tears to my eyes . Remembering how my sister and I would sing these song and drink brandy joking about everything and everyone . I miss her so much .
The Philly Intruders and Little Sunny always sung like he was crying loved it Rip takes me back to late 60s early 70s as a pre teen and Teenager This was Sanging
A real man with real talent. These gangster rappers ruined black music culture. The late C. Delores Tucker is owed an apology. Black people should of backed her in the mid 80's and made itca mission to eradicate that hateful gangster rap that dominates the radio.
There was an AGENDA even bigger than her! The powers that be knew exactly what they were doin in allowing this! Look at all the deaths that has resulted and...among who?😳😳
Boy, I don’t even know what to say, life is short but memories of love found and lost are so so beautiful and precious, these touch my heart and soul ❤
Hey this is.Still 🔥 always been 1 of my favorite jams. They don't make music like this no more. A man really sings to you and speaks in a sexy Swag way to his lady .Slow dancing pulling you close. Man miss those dayz.
He came to our Seacoast Usher Anniversary A few years ago at a Church in Asbury Park! I knew Irecognized his voice, the he said after the group broke up he sings gospel now! We were blown away! Loved The Intruders ❤❤❤
i miss that man... i know that right now we would be listening to slow ballads leading to our love making. now he's gone from this world and all i have are the memories
I bought your album. The song was part of the album and I played it and I played it and I played it and I still have it. This is fine. It gets better every time you hear it and this is decades later.❤😊
This came out when i was about 12, so i didn't understand love between a man and a woman yet. But all that music back then was so mellow, and love was in the air.
“ My name is Little Sonny and I drive a little Volkswagen…” this song is oozing emotions that every man can relate to…the timeless pursuit of a man after a beautiful woman.
One of my all time favorite grouos. I was a preteen living in philly on Uber street off of Susquehanna Ave. when this group was burning up the charts, especially in philly.
I was born in 56’ and I thank The LORD that I was fortunate enough to have ❤d me some 60s and 70s music. I even fell in love with Dow Wop growing up. So for me, it’s 50s 60s and 70s! ❤❤❤ But I am not narrow minded!
