It wasn't clear from the start but during IWALY, the judges really showed their favoritism towarsa Mai. Yuju did better than Mai but the PD still picked Mai over Yuju
I think in IWALY Mai didn’t win against Yuju because she was the judges favourite, but because they just didn’t like Yuju. I honestly think they would’ve chosen anyone beside Yuju.
Fuko not making it was an absolute crime. She was one of the best contestants in the whole show and it was such a shock to see her eliminated. I was so sure sarang and mai wouldnt make it in the end but here we are and Im super happy for them! Other than that, Im so satisfied with the final lineup.
Fuko can't Rap Sarang can..🤪 It's your crime not voting hard for your bias...hahaha Sarang can fixed her crack sometimes because of lack of confidence since her ranking was dropping. But her beauty stand out compare to others...
I feel like Jeemin could be FLS Iland ver, and while Koko did stand out in IWALY, we really knew she's 100% gonna debut in Lovesick girls. I remember imates being worried about her votes being low during part 1, not to mention she had very little amount of screen time
saebi was guaranteed a debut at panorama. not only was she fantastic, but many people compared her to wonyoung. I also think this is the performance in which the producers started to love her
The moment I heard IWALY&Fake it.. I trust that they will have good future musics. I prefer Fake it more sjnce it gives the Girlband vibes (Day6 vibes songs) or (Loser Lover by TXT) vibes. Drip is fine but nothing really enticing only the dance

All i can say is as long as they have theblacklabel&teddy behind them producing musics for them... they are in good hands. Personally I always liked the music style of teddy and I love his musical direction given also the famous groups he worked with (2NE1, BIGBANG, BLACKPIN) that is what kepler lacks a good music label producer for them. Teddy will give bop songs for IZNA, the only thing im worry is that if most of them who are non vocalists can deliver the quality needed for the songs. Although I have faith in (Jungeun&Jiyoon) guiding them vocally. Saebi and Sarang as okay vocalists. Mai's tone is actually unique so I think she will do fine in the songs. Not sure about live singing. Koko and jeemin are fine vocally but just need practice espdcially koko
I'm actually interested to see how they'll do vocally because either they can water down the vocals so everyone can sound good or they'll let the better vocalist do their thing and everyone else will fall short.
Imo Koko in Lovesick girls is when she really showed she was ready for debut, like her stage presence was amazing, dance was amazing, rap honestly if she works on pronunciation she’ll be fine, and she actually sounds nice vocally
here’s some opinions about how mai & saebi was chosen over fuko that judges might think too. 1. fuko's good at vocalist right? but the group already have jungeun and jiyoon so they might focus in others ability. 2. since the group was produced by teddy, they need members that can pull off the concepts and theme that teddy produces, just like one the biggest groups in kpop which is bp, 2ne1, BigBang. mai and koko (sarang) can pull of that vibes more than fuko (since mai is good at versatility and duality) 3. if jeemin would be the center (jungeun have chance) she needs saebi, the performance need some face on with a center in every performance to add highlights, which is, it really need visuals. 4. fuko's best specialty is vocal but she is outshining by jungeun and jiyoon, and there is a challenge for her to rap, but she can't do it. 5. she's stable with highnotes without cracking, same as the 2 best vocalist, and jungeun is a good dancer, jiyoon was great leader too and can be a center. 6. group's need a charismatic, killable, and unique visual, mai pulls off that visual. her visual is unmatchable and unbeatable even with the other ilanders, her visuals led her performance impactful, good, and charismatic even she haves the small parts for those who don't know. 7. in the votings, saebi was 6th, mai was 7th, and fuko was 8th, so even if they follow the votes fuko was still not debuting. 8. yes, fuko deserves better but that's not a enough reason to bring down mai and call her a dozen it she can sing, dance, rap, and sp. y'all just claiming her as a visual and dozen and not understanding what's behind of it. (mai was the most hated when she gets picked) PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT THIS SHOW IS NOT ALL ABOUT VOCALIST, NOT BECAUSE MAI IS NASAL DOESN'T MEAN SHE CAN'T SING, THEY ALL DESERVES THE SPOT AND NOT FUKO DESERVES BETTER, THEY ALL DESERVES BETTER, IT'S NOT ABOUT FAVORITISM. classy is a good example of showing that coming from a survival show doesn’t mean automatic success. i also feel like a reason they’re not as big as they could be is because ppl didn’t like the final lineup. me included.

I think we all know that Jeemin was a lock since she was announced I mean if it weren't for the RUN producers literally picking 4/6 members she would have been in illit due to her high votes so her fans came back with a vengeance. Also I think the moment when we knew Saebi was a lock has to be her lovesick girls performance where she proved she could do darker concepts, which she solidified with Money the next week. I would also be inclined to say that while Rain on Me was undoubtably Mai's best performance and even episode in general, but looking at the judges comments they pretty much state point blank if she hadn't pulled through vocally the week before she would not have been picked so I think that is her moment for debut.
I think Mai really showed her talent and that full "impact princess" image during Into The New World, and improving even better during Fake it. She took her time but she got there, I believe in the debut she will be 200% better than in the show.
I feel like Jungeun was more like "will make finals / part 2" during Drama. Cuz her part 2 have been very difficult, her screentime was lost in many parts too. The breakout moment would be when she got called 2nd in the semifinals, or else I don't think I would believe that she could have a chance
Mai is a very rare case of trying out KPOP after graduating from Japanese high school. Although her skills are not that high yet, it is amazing that she is able to dance and manage her facial expressions like this after coming to Korea for a year as a trainee. I don't think the producers only evaluated her visuals, personality, and attitude.
For Mai, ever since Drama I already had a feel that she can debut. Her visual is different among the other constestants, I watched drama before only because of jeemin but my focus was switching from the four of them especially to Mai. Idk maybe her voice is soo new to my ears from karina's version or could also be her visual is so unique eventhough she resembles yeji(itzy) my attention was always on her. But overall Im happy for her debuting.

Honestly Mai deserved her debut! I think they did like Yuju but they liked Mai because they saw potential in her. And remember we don’t see everything behind the scenes.
I think Mai was in Drama, since after the performance the judges praised her by her visual, and it is quite confirmed when in the last episode, the judges told her that she's pretty but need to practice, I quite don't understand that, like ??? Saebi i think it's started with Panorama cause before it no one knew who is she, and than it was confirmed when she did IWALY! Jeemin since she enter the reality Koko after IWALY, cause she was the second in the elimination votes and after Lovesick Girls, quite confirmed that she would be the rapper... Jungeun since Drama and center of Final Love Song, if you are the center you gonna debut... Jiyoon after eyes, nose, lips she prove that she is a Main Vocal and after all the edit Jiyoon X Jungeun, we know that one of than would debut, thankfully both got it... Sarang, I will be honest she never catch my eyes, but in the last song when she rap I was "Okay!!! Les't go!!!", all of her part 2 performances, she quite made some mistakes, probably cause there was some public, so I would say that was in Whistle where she prove her vocal and mic drop x sugarcoat where she prove her dance Eliminated Fuko - I would say Fine, cause she deserve, the judges wanted her to be a rapper too in the final and a was like ??? She is a Main Vocal!!! Why you want her to rap??? Gyuri - Honest I wouldn't be mad if she debut, all of her performances was great, she had great parts and was really cute in every stage, but 4 walls really made her shine with her stable vocals! Yuju - MNET did't wanted her, she was really good in every performance too, but Spicy was crazy, I would like her in the final group too as a Main Rapper...
This group kinda bad in vocals yes they have the second best and the best vocalist in I-LAND 2 in this group but the rest are still kinda underdeveloped. Fuko would have been a great addition to be a bridge that connects the members with good vocal skills and underdeveloped vocal skills in the group
Sarang serve the main vocalist in Whistle, and she delivered it. So, you can say Izna have three vocalist and the other four are good at drawing attention, but they can also sing even though not as good as JungYoon but they can. So, dont worry.
Saebe was amazing in Iwala. Pink suits her. But after other performances I don’t think some theme didn’t suit her. I felt it was always to same moves,eye wink, same expression every performance. But it was very clear they wanted to debut her since beginning.
ive kept up with I-land2 but never watched any eps, the only ep i watched was the last one on mnet official tiktok live and once i saw fake it perform i knew almost everyone in that unit was gonna debut

Jiyoon was always meant for debut, prod just had to brainstorm hard how to make the audience love her too - so gave her eyes nose lips. Drama girls were always it! And everyone who was skinny, long and visual! I was worried hell for sarang but she can survive the height difference with a ponytail - esp that it fits her face perfectly!
For me personally, they will probably have vocal controversy but not as bad as Leseraphim. They already have three members good at vocals (Jeongun, Jiyoon, and Sarang). I think Saebi is also good vocally. She did well in Lovesick girls and Panorama. Also, I hate this trend actually but kpop songs have been getting shorter. Hence, I personally believe having Fuko in the group would just be disadvantageous for Fuko herself as the group already has Jeongun and Jiyoon. If Fuko is in the group and she gets significantly less line than the 2 of them. I can already foresee another vocal distribution controversy coming from the fans. I dislike controversy over this topic the most cause I believe that the producers knows the best who should get which part so that the song would sounds good.
Y'all actually need to stop bullying Mai! She didn't pick herself and you are all out her calling her ugly, which is a straight up lie. But here is the thing Fuko was behind Mai in audience votes, so where was all this energy for Fuko when you could actually vote to save her? I was voting for her in tandem with Koko the whole time, but a good majority of complainers must have had another 1 pick or else Fuko would have won the show with all these comments. This is how survival shows work, not everyone makes it and this time Fuko didn't make it, not because visuals over talent but rather because her fan's didn't do enough and she wasn't the right fit for the group.Maybe next time we see her you all will actually car about her instead of this after thought you are giving her now.
The end comment about why we shouldnt watch survial shows anymore is sooo true. It hurts more though when its a group that will be temporarily. Oh though hurt the most!!!! I never knew Sarang would debut I thought Fuko would and there's just a vibe I get from Sarang that makes me not like her in this specific group, wheras Fuko would have been a great leader so Im really sad she didnt recieve more votes not to mention her all rounder talented.

I would never throw hate her way, I was just making a comment about the results not her as a person. Plus I was specifically saying I didn't think she fit the group, whereas I believe Fuko does better. But what has happened has happened, and she will probably change my perspective when I see the debut. I am supporting them and hoping Fuko continues her dream.
The whole japanese idols can't sing allegation is really stupid coz we have Fuko (even tho she didn't debut here), Gisele from Aespa, Yuta from NCT, Mashiro from Kep1er and XG (they do promote in korea) just to name a few.

Jeemin is overrated. Her vocal isn’t great compare other contesters on stage. But cause many support her she debut. Fuko had amazing vocal every stage performance.yet she was left unnoticed. It’s sad. Mai sounds great at the end and looks stunning. She proved her spot.
