When we lose a big part of our racing family this is what the drivers do to show their respect. 

Great tribute, truly shows how close knit the racing community is. He’s not gone just a lap ahead.

People on the outside of the racing world really don’t know how thick the blood really is inside a racing family. Sad to see such a young life lost that so many loved . Give them hell in heaven brother and make some clouds raddle cause we are all listening 🙏RIP .

Same age as me, 43! Too soon to lose a person as young and special as him! So sorry to hear that he had to battle that stupid disease! I've lost loved ones to cancer as well and I pray for this young man and his family and friends!! God Bless!!

I'm surprised he wasn't on a car. But damn what a tribut to him. I'm for a crying like a little kid. I just know how racing families are. They put everything they have into these cars heart soul and tears. For the 20 40 50 100 laps you are you and no one else matters but when you're in the pits garages driveways helping everyone is family.

I work at a dirt track. Goosebumps hit the second I heard the first race car.

A man from a racing family here were I live passed away and they had the numbers of all the cars he had work with on his casket and there was a lot of them. You'll done great honoring him. One of my friends that was a Highway Patrolman was killed in the line of duty. There was a line of Law Enforcement cars with two to five officers in them over a mile long coming to the cemetery from the Funeral Service. I was ask if I would video tape it so I was out there like the one that filmed this. There was a overpass a miled before the turn in to the cemetery there was still lights on top of car come over the overpass when the lead cars was in the cemetery. The way you honored you friend made me think about the way my friend was honored. I wasn't a law officer just a friend of his. Filming it and seeing how he was honored made me feel good just like I sure it did the one the films this video. Stay safe and God bless. From another Dan

Each year I go to the track,as a fan,and each year I notice some of the older gang failing to return. Just faces of fans I never see again and I feel that they have past.

A good friend of mine and fellow racer passed away last year, I run super late models dirt track, and we have a ride along car so every time we race I take his son 7 years old for a couple lap's,then he goes and gets his dad's ashes and they rideon my car during the race, people can say what they want to, but there's a weird bond between racer car drivers,we will be throwing punches in the pits or on the track,but if someone has a problem we will team up and fix it, sorry for your friend may god bless you and his family and friends

If u have ever raced dirt track drag racing and have not been in one of these or saw one of these funeral persetions man it is way sadder then it looks I've been in 50 some was for my uncle and my grandpa it was a bad day and each time I was the one driving there car it is saddest thing anyone can ever see

This just shows racing is in the blood. It's more than just a pass time, it's something that runs deeper. Especially in dirt racing, where everyone knows you and respects you.

I know what it is like to lose a local hero in Stock car racing. Up here in New England aka Connecticut and Rhode Island we lost 2 greatest drivers in the Modified world. The likeness of Mike Stefanik and Bob Potter.
