PG Stølen's «When We Say the Last Sad Words» from the album «Come and Sit Here Next to Me» (2024)
Life is truly diverse ... while many of us are enjoying a lovely spring and summer time, there are some who, RIGHT NOW, are fighting their MOST difficult battle in grief, loss, and pain. The beauty of nature, the cheerful song of the birds and the warm, pleasant summer wind somehow mean nothing. People we meet on our way can be RIGHT there. It is not always easy to see in passing, because often this is how it is expressed in the old saying "The eyes can smile, the mouth can laugh, but the sadness in the heart no one can see". As humans, we experience throughout life that grief is actually the price of love. The more we love someone, the greater the sadness at the time of parting. As a songwriter, I want to perform "ALL Life"..." "Meet people in different phases of life's facets" . This week's video/song premiere is called "When we say the last sad words". It will most likely hit someone who is there now...has been there...or will be there. We simply have to accept the enormous disappointment. Verbal comfort is difficult at this stage...but several of us have an implanted hope, which "sits alive in our soul". The "infinite hope of reunion"...as strong and alive as "flowers buds after melted spring snow"...and THEN it is experienced as quite likely. PLEASE SHARE PEOPLE!!!
