When We Were - A Short Film About Fighting Cancer 

Being A young cancer survivor myself this touched my emotions on so many levels. I was diagnosed with stage 3 bc at the age of 28 and this past Sept i reached my 5th year milestone. When Marianne said I might not make it I kept saying to myself you're gonna make you are. Thank you for such an amazing video in line with October being breast cancer awareness month. To everyone out there reading this cancer doesn't discriminate it can happen to anyone

Well, this is nicer than I expected. Hope more stories about cancer patients ended like this one. It's extremely hard to stay positive after finding out that you or someone dear to you had cancer. A very close friend of mine diagnosed for intestinal cancer, and passed away when we were in middle school. It was one of the most painful moment in my life. I remember vividly how kind, passionate, and positive she can be about planning her future after finishing school and college, all while knowing she won't be there to make it come true. Thanks for another great piece, JinnyBoy. Stay safe always.

After watching these, gives me more strength to NOT STOP BELIEVING IN FUTURE despite that I'M a CANCER PATIENT STAGE 3 currently undergoing treatments and so on. I feels this movie not because what I have but it because THAT WE SHOULDN'T STOP HOPING AND BELIEVING that WE CAN. And we WILL. Sometimes LIFE JUST COME WITH SURPRISES THAT MAY change HOW WE SEE OURSELVES and OUR FUTURE. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING CRAFT INDEED! This movie brings tear in my eyes. And one thing I learn from it: I don't know what will be my tommorow, but I will not waste my today in being depressed.

I am 27 and was diagnosed with stage 3 Nasopharynx Cancer last month. This video relates so much to me in a sense that when the news of the biopsy result came in, I was like Marianne. It felt like a bus just went through me and my mind was just blank. I didn't know how to process this piece of news, it came as a shock. It took at least a good week for me to come to an understanding and accept the fact this is reality, and to fight on. And just like in this video, my wife and I had our ROM earlier this year and was initially planning to have our wedding ceremony next year, but we're postponing it so that I may have more time to rest and recuperate through the chemo and radiation therapy treatment. Fast forward, I'm in my first cycle of chemo treatment now and things couldn't seem better as sometimes when I'm awake from sleep, I even forgotten that I'm a cancer patient, I would say that's a good start :) The support that my family has shown especially my wife and mom, is the pillar of strength that pushes me forward and enabling me to summon whatever strength I have within me to keep fighting onwards, never giving up. Whomever is going through with what I'm going through, please know that you're not alone and NEVER give up on hope!

This short film was very moving, heartwarming, and touching. I've watched it at less a dozen times since I saw it yesterday. It made me laugh and cry, and that's why this is one of my favorites. My other favorite is '' A Moment of Love ''... a Valentine short film.

Such a touching and motivating short film. I have a sweet and lovely wife. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer stage 2 on May 2019 in the age of 39. And now she is still fighting in the battle with stage 4 condition. It’s not an easy path for us with 2 young boys. She is currently undergo the 4th type of chemo drug now. She is a real fighter! I’m sure she is gonna be fine. I need her very much. But we are very thankful for whatever we have now! Hey Everyone, wait and see our miracle testimony soon! Wait.. I’m gonna shave my hair first. 🤙🏻

While watching this video, I literally cried... Okay, hoping that there are still somebody out there like Jade. The one who'll stay with you no matter how struggling you are, no matter how you look like and what you are, and will always stay with you through your ups and downs. Fighting together hand in hand of all the problems in life. Having someone who will understand and will always love you for who you are is what everyone needs, including myself:-)
