i’m happy and sad lol, ark 1 gave me some of the best and worst memories lmao, but that game holds a special place in my heart, been playing it since i was 14 and i’m 18 now, could never get away from it 😂
When is ark 2 coming out? I read it won't be released until 2024, but then I just watched a video where it said Microsoft said it should be out by June or July of 2023. So which one is it?
One of the most imaginative embracing games I ever took part in...Coolest 5 years I ever spent.. Only game I ever played the most for that long really😔
@@randomgamer8543 Same, this game was the most unique game and possibly the most entertaining game I've played😌😌👏 And I've played 50+ AAA titles including all the famous titles like ac creed series, just cause series, GTA series, far cry series, Watch dogs series etc.
Yeah…that sad video of the gamer remembering they left a tamed wolf alone in their minecraft house for so many years broke my heart. Can’t have something like that on our hands lol
Yea, all of my friends refer to ark as a parasite and when I try to get them to get on they refuse because they don’t want to become addicted again. We feel need an ark rehab.
One weekend I didn't come off ark from Friday to Monday morning and got told off by my dad staying up on a school day (btw I acted asleep when he came in my room) and he said do my homework BC I didn't do it BC of ark and then I hat to do all the chors for 2 weeks
I once sailed across the Atlantic on a sail boat. Just before setting off I downloaded Ark, having not played it for a couple years. It kept me entertained the entire 3 week at sea, day and night I played it! It was a god saver and by far one of my favorite games.
While I do believe that Ark 2 is going to be amazing, i don't think people will leave Ark 1 completely. It is highly likely that the majority of the players will stick to Ark 1 while playing Ark 2.
I tried to stay on evolved but it’s very dead and ascended has all the players now. I switched a couple days ago and I don’t even regret it. Same game anyways so not much to regret, however because it’s still only island it’s soooo refreshing because you will get the og ark experience. Beach bobs all over, people build out in the open instead of in ratholes and caves (still do but not as much)
Started a new ragnorak world yesterday on my new laptop and oml I remembered how terrible it is taming a tapejara 😂 I got 2 different ones and accidentally killed them both during the taming process. One was already super low and I accidentally hit it with my bird and it died and the other one died to my tranq arrow when i hit it. This game has caused me a lot of rage in the past few days
@@justnathan_4087yea idk what possessed me to start a new game either but I did on Friday lmao. Living in my lil 3x1 shack making grenades and drugs lmao
The only game capable of capturing my heart, I said goodbye to the base with tears. Ark brought me friends that I will keep for life ❤️ thank you to this wonderful community. 🌹
When I was younger, I would watch my brother play this game and it looked so much fun. My brother and his friends would always be playing it. When i finally got a ps4 and started playing, I wish I could have played in those older times when everyone was playing it. I never got the true chance of having the fun like my brother did. One thing I must remember is although I didn’t get to see the true masterpiece in the game, it still brought sorrow to my heart to see a game thats 9 years old, finally move on. it’s what happens in life. I just hope Asa can still be good.
@@IronKnightRU-vid I'm not just being a cynic either, I mean you don't just drop a 200GB update on a game *and* work on a sequel to that game at the same time. My bet is that SWC's attention has been entirely on Ark 1 for the past year and Ark 2 is still in preproduction stages.
I'm agreeing with u man. I been obsessed since before it came to consoles. But wildcard maps r always a let down. They ought to fire their ppl and hire the fans. My 3 fav maps r all fan created. And tbh they didn't give those maps the same level of respect as their maps. Held back in other words.
This game has given me both some of the most infuriating and also memorable and enjoyable times. I started playing this game in 5th grade and now I just graduated high school. I'll miss it for sure. Maybe I'll hop on official pvp for one last time on my old character and just talk with the other guys on whatever server my character was last on. I'll never forget all the metal runs I had to do on that one small mountain near west zone 1.
Ark has a special place. Been playing for so long. I remember playing when I was just a little iPad kid. Now that I bought my own PC and fully enjoyed the game. Ark 2 isn't the same though. To much tek. I miss the primal upgrades...
Man I almost cried reading that. I’m not even joking. I’m going through a lot rn and that almost made me fucking cry man. Idk if you came up with that or not but it was beautiful.
I still play on Ark 1. Got loads of stuff on it, especially on Ragnarok. Got teleporters leading to bases in different biomes including a series of connected tree platforms in redwoods connected by bridges with a lift, got a cliff platform in the mountains, a house in the savannah and tames native to those regions there. Not throwing all that away Never.
Well i just started so im gonna be on ark 1 for a long time Ark 2 doesnt sound appealing to me with only third person etc and i bet a lot of people feel that way too
You don’t have to leave those memories behind, they are memories for a reason. You can move on, but don’t forget the past experiences. Remember what made life for you great, and remember the things that sucked to learn from. Don’t be saddened because the past was great, be happy because it happened 👍.
I had tamed a jerboa and named him jerry, he was my prized possession. An hour after taming him, he gets killed while I am fighting a t-Rex. 1 minute later I find a jerboa that looks exactly like jerry standing still, staring at his death location. I fr started crying when I saw this What I’m trying to say is, I’ll never leave the OG ark behind
Ark 1 hold a special place in my heart with memories filled with joy and screams from the good times and the bad Times, but I cannot get myself to replace it. That’s my message.
Man ark has held a special place In my heart, I have been playing it since I was 12 and I’m 17 now and ark has taught one of the biggest things in life. “even when you lose everything, push hard and work hard and you will have more than before”
started playing ark 5-6 years ago in high school, little did I know it was the golden age and met people from around the world. I still look back at those times and am thankful for those memories
The best game i have ever played. I started it when i was still 10 years old and now im 15 and i still enjoy playing it even when im alone. Great memories made from a legendary game
Aint moving to ASA anytime soon. I've been playing ark since i was 8 (now im 15) and its probably my favorite game ever made. It may be a buggy mess, but its a buggy mess that gave me the memories no other game did
I am NEVER leaving the og ark behind Ive gotten so many memories from it and I'm not gonna let em go by replacing it with a new version that barely any computers can even handle
With the way wildcard and snail games has been going, i’m pretty sure snail is gonna be in a gutter somewhere in the next couple of years with the amount of debt they have. At this point im hoping they sell wildcard to a competent company with good management and leadership that will keep wildcard on the up and up during game development and allow the IP to finally shine
I don’t think I will ever forget this game. I always feel like it’s underloved and and for such a beautiful game with so many mechanics it isn’t recognised as it should be, but thinking back to the memories it makes me laugh and cry bc this truly is a great game and ark 2 will bring many more, happy memories and will bring everyone together again for a new adventure of the ARK
Survey of 1000 people found that 95% played it once, saw the wait times, and let this game collect dust. Meanwhile the other 5%, played it more than once. There you go, long wait times deter new players.
I’m gonna miss it so much, but maybe the community might not like ark 2 and we might all just go back to the game that introduced us to all of this fun
i wont leave it either i love this game long 5 years ago i played on brothers acc were good times even proceeded to do singleplayer and later on mods in that singleplayer world :)
While im playing Ark 2, i wil for sure take breaks and play the original grand masterpiece, and after i beat Ark 2, this game will forever stay by my side until it is unavailable. The memories are too much to leave behind
I won't leave ARK for ARK 2. ARK is just an awesome game with so many different maps, it needs more than just one sequel, that may not have more than one map, that I leave the original game.
@@forgivenessacceptance1688 Hah, I have more than 300 days behind me, if not more. And no, I didn't speed up the days and nights. The most days are from The Island and Valguero. So show a little more respect, kid.
You’ll really be forced to lol. Ark will eventually give out and so will older consoles. No players will be on Ark of Ark 2 is a hit which it most likely will be.
This game is alway gonna bring back good memories. It made me get a pc when I was 14 and It also help me find the coolest group of people and I can’t believe it’s been so long only feels like a couple years.
I was playing the game at 13 years old now I’m almost 20. Just crazy, you know I really don’t want to leave it make me sad like I lost something important to me…..😢
This is so deep, man. I don't want to leave it😥 the thought that ark 2 is coming makes me so and so sad at the same time I'm gonna miss all my boys in this game
Im going to be honest Mobile is one of the worst things to play ark with because I don’t even think that the map is the same and it’s harder than playing on PC I’m a Xbox player
@@That_vr_kid-l3r The map isn't different, they're the same. The only difference is that some dinos don't spawn, exp running is not so beneficial, and leveling up takes longer. Sounds like very bad downsides but it's still a fun game.
I’m not even kidding I started to tear up thinking of leaving ark 1 I remember all the good times me and my dad started to play ark and tried to tame a doedic in scorched earth ha the good days 😔
I remember when this game dropped, my lil brother and I loved it even though I was terrible at it. Really sad it's gone, now we have to buy a whole new console just to play the new game
If I ever manage to get ark 2... I will never forget my oldest tame: my Brontosaurus. She's been with me ever since my second day of playing Ark and trust me it was hard only using a slingshot and a club but boy was it worth it
I remember, I was so afraid to aventure myself through ARK map because of Rex Spino and others carnivores ! But one day, they were a Spino who spawned next to my base and I remember I was so afraid that he attacks that one day, I decide to tame it, at the end he ended up being my best creature
