This is gonna be ao much fun. Cant wait. With all the SEC and BIG non conference match ups, i dont see too many teams without at least one loss. To undefeated in these seasons is almost unheard of. Im hyped
It will be interesting to see how these four new colleges integrate into the Big Ten conference and how the other collegiate sports deal with entering the Ten conference.
I will be especially interested to see if the conference can maintain these scheduling principles come 2026, when it will be a normal year of 13 weeks.
really makes no sense. flipping those matchups at the end of the year seems so much more logical. MSU v PSU and Rutgesr vs Maryland or whoever the other two were
not to much different than what it already is now. road games are road games. they got to spend an extra hour on the flight both ways two times a year when USC plays Iowa instead of Arizona
Why does the B1G allow USC to host ND that late in the season? Shouldn't a B1G school be allowed to travel out west when the weather is crappy in the Mideast?
ND deal with USC predates Big 10 schedule. Those games are already scheduled. USC is big fish also and thats a game BIG 10 makes revenue off every other year. So when USC at home against ND late in season that will be a BIG 10 TV game meaning BIG 10 can demand more money from TV networks. If Big 10 asked USC to join, and USC said "yea we are interested but you have to let us keep playing Notre Dame" do you really think Big 10 would say "no we dont want you anymore". Especially when by adding USC half those games are Big 10 TV games now.
@@gunner-qf9eh There's nothing common sense when Wisconsin should be visiting SoCal in late November instead of September. Make ND join the B1G. and they can have that game as one of their rival games, as long as the game is played every year the last weekend of November.
@jojowhite9296 LOL. Everything sounds good on a keyboard. How are you going to MAKE ND join the B1G Ten, when every sport they play is in the ACC instead of football??? And all of this is so Wisconsin doesn't play a cold weather game lol! Boy, I would love to be a fly on the wall for that conversation lol.
19) Hawaii because they travel anyway, it’s another time slot and who’s going to complain about going there? 20) rotate the previous seasons UK champ because why not?
really. you think fans are gonna hate have an extra couple top 25 v top 25 matchups to watch every week. watching the playoff games you probably thought bcs was good with that attitude
@@tomdemay6147 yeah fans who care about winning will be sick of it. Also everyone will beat each other down and some of the good teams early will slowly find themselves not so good anymore
@@DionPryor1 thats football. that happens already. the only thing changing is that more games are important more games are between high ranked teams. SEC teams already "beat each other down" does that stop people from watching SEC football?
people will pay attention to playoff contenders and top 25 teams. so its more than 4 teams important. if this was this season you would have had 6/7 teams competing for playoff games. All of a sudden a game like Washington vs USC is even more interesting because USC is trying to fight back to top 12 to potentially get a playoff spot.
