When & Where To Use Rations For Auto Clearing In LDOE

Collecting resources and continually farming zones is a large part of Last Day on Earth's progression system. Rations provide a way to auto clear most map locations, but using them the right way will help you get the most out of them! In this video I show some tests I've run with rations, and I compare the efficiency of clearing resource zones to places like bunker alfa or the farm. Thanks for watching!

2:18: Do you count Rawhide as a primary or secondary item? I‘m in need of leather and I‘d like to use my remaining 200 rations on gathering it rather than play for a week JUST to get that rawhide...

I wonder if SKILLS can affect the loot. Like, if I have "20% get 1 more logs" or "20% get 1 more metal ore when mining iron", will I get more resources? If that's the case, then low level players should save rations for later.

Great question. I wonder if dog perks like "bloodhound" or the other healer item percentage perks work as well. I'll test that out next time I've got some rations!

I have like 200 rations and I don't know where to use them bcz as I seen there is waste of ration in zones so can you tell me where I can use them for worth items

I think zones during events have great payouts. I treat rations as a way to quickly stockpile event items, cut down on standard resource farming, and to boost xp. Keep saving them until we get our next event that requires farming event items from either event locations or the standard zones. Just don't use them at Alfa, PD, The Farm, etc. Those places aren't going to give you good payouts for the amount of rations you have to use.

If you make an m16 mod info thingy keep in mind that grip is better than round mag I see many people think otherwise and it's blatantly false.

@@Pressingx if you need reasoning the damage upgeade you get is negated by the accuracy drop making you miss more which means your dps gets worse and durability gets a small negative because missed shots still break the gun plus the damage increase is not that big
