Will Ferrel in a shouting fit is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. If I were his kid, there would be no conceivable way I could take him seriously if I ever got in trouble.

I think comedians tend to see the world the way it is and are depressed for that reason. That's why they become funny in the first place.... they learn humor to cope with existence.
Ferrell's tried to do serious roles. "Stranger Than Fiction" was part comedy. But his TV movie "A Deadly Adoption" was awful including Ferrell himself. Comedy is simply the only thing he can do.
Are you kidding? He was terrific in "Stranger Than Fiction" and I haven't seen it, but I've heard "A Deadly Adoption" was played straight, in order to be funny - If that makes sense
Tom T No "A Deadly Adoption" tried to be as serious "Unforgiveable" or "A Cry For Help" from 1989--TV movies that really pull your heartstrings. "A Deadly Adoption" didn't even come close. People consider it an accidental comedy now like they do with "The Wicker Man" from 2006 and "Battlefield Earth."
I mean yeah, but like most comedic actors, he is also inherently funny and it absolutely comes out in day to day interactions. It's fair to dig a little bit and dissect to find out just how pervasive the comedy is.
You have a point, some sequels don't always pan out... For example, The Hangover was great but some would say the sequels weren't as funnier as the original. But it would be nice to see Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly on screen together they are both freaking hilarious.
After all these years I'm fairly certain this is the very first time I have seen Will Ferrell not in character, even in interviews he's perpetually always in character, pretty sure that's the first time I've seen him laugh as well.

I met a guy who coached Will Ferrell's kids. He was, like, the world's most interesting man. His hair was amazing. Meeting him was the second gayest moment in my life. So, anyway, I asked if Will Ferrel's kids were jerks. This guy leans back and says, "Nah, they're cool."

My ball fro - is no more now that i bought that Manscape shaver - my ball fro is now slick bald and the ladies love it! Of course they are technically employees - from the Korean Massage and Nail Salon - sure i pay them but they laugh at my jokes, tell me how handsome i am, and are super kind and nice to me and they never complain or break my chops like my wife does.
