This ritual theatre dance piece was an ode to feminine reclamation.
Most of the women in this performance had never done choreography before. Over a transformative 10-week journey, they explored the dimensions of the self through movement, visionary dance, ritual, and sisterhood to bring this powerful piece to life.
We teach girls to shrink themselves, to make themselves smaller. Eclectica Hub is a space where you can bring your whole self and allow the hidden aspects of your psyche to slowly emerge.
This was one of our Passage Of Self groups performing at our stageshow back in May. The performance became an ode to women, their resilience, and the reclamation of their natural maternal power.
With domestic violence rates rising and women worldwide suffering at the hands of violence, this piece felt like an invitation to reclaim personal sovereignty and strength.
