Just add two teaspoons of moringa powder into a meal to cure constipation. All the pain in the knee from cycling disappears as it is high in calcium. If you consume many moringa leaves, you will be running to the toilet a few times a day so moderation is the key.
I am 83 yrs old with HBP and had prostatitis. 6 days a week I boil moringa leaves (and stems) for about 30 minutes and end up with a fairly concentrated tea which I drink twice daily, for about 1 year. I do take my HBP meds regularly My prostatitis appears to have vanished. Am I over-dosing? My HBP has always been difficult, but now along with dried .breadfruit leaves it is a lot improved. What should I be cautious about?

I understand that you have to monitor your blood pressure and sugar levels if you are thanking those medications. I take thyroid medication. How does Moringa powder affect the thyroid function. Should I not take it while taking thyroid medication. I really want to take it for all the benefits.
Moringa leaves pureed in a blender, strained and mixed with water is a good biostimulant for plants by watering of plants or used as a foliar spray. Benefits pets as well as humans... good for dogs health. Leaves are also good as fodder for farm animals; horses, cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, geese and ducks. Even Talapia fish farmers use Moringa leaves to feed their fish. Moringa grows fast too... not as fast as the beans from Jack and the bean stalk and it won't make your goose lay golden eggs, but it is a pretty amazing plant... well if leprechauns, trolls, faries and unicorns were real, it would probably be good for them too! LOL!!!! Grow Moringa! Kept pruned, it can be a lovely houseplant you can snip leaves from as well!

You're right that moringa contains certain antinutrients such as oxalates and phytates, which can affect the absorption of minerals like calcium, iron, and zinc. However, there are ways to reduce these antinutrients to make moringa safer and more beneficial to consume. Soaking: Soaking moringa seeds in water for several hours can significantly reduce their antinutrient content. This process helps to leach out water-soluble antinutrients like oxalates and phytates. Fermenting: Fermentation is another effective method. It not only reduces antinutrients but also enhances the bioavailability of nutrients. Fermenting moringa leaves or seeds can break down phytates and oxalates, making the nutrients more accessible. Cooking: Cooking moringa leaves, such as boiling them, can also decrease the levels of oxalates and phytates. For example, boiling moringa leaves for about 10 minutes can reduce the oxalate content by up to 50%. By utilizing these methods, you can enjoy the health benefits of moringa while minimizing the potential negative effects of antinutrients. Moringa powder, which is made by drying and grinding the leaves, also typically contains fewer antinutrients compared to fresh leaves, due to the drying process destroying some of these compounds.
Here’s how you can make moringa tea: Ingredients: 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried moringa leaves (or 1 to 2 tablespoons of fresh moringa leaves) 1 cup of water Honey, lemon, or other flavorings (optional) Instructions: Prepare the Moringa Leaves: If you have fresh moringa leaves, wash them thoroughly to remove any dirt. If using dried moringa leaves, ensure they are clean and free from any debris. Boil the Water: In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add Moringa Leaves: Once the water is boiling, add the moringa leaves. If using fresh leaves, you can add them directly. If using dried leaves, you may place them in a tea infuser or a tea bag. Steep the Leaves: Reduce the heat to low and let the leaves steep in the hot water for 5 to 10 minutes. The longer you steep, the stronger the flavor and the more nutrients are extracted. Strain the Tea: After steeping, remove the pot from heat. If you used fresh leaves, strain the tea into a cup to remove the leaves. If you used an infuser or tea bag, simply remove it. Add Flavorings (Optional): You can enhance the flavor of your moringa tea by adding a teaspoon of honey or a slice of lemon. Stir well to combine. Serve: Pour the tea into a cup and enjoy it hot. You can also let it cool and serve it over ice for a refreshing iced moringa tea. Tips: Moringa tea can be consumed daily for its health benefits, including its rich antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. You can experiment with additional flavorings like ginger, mint, or cinnamon for a different twist. Enjoy your moringa tea!
God bless.🙏❤️🙏
Thanks for your comment! It's true that moringa powder contains oxalates, which can be a concern for some people, especially those prone to kidney stones. However, in moderation, moringa powder still offers a lot of health benefits, including vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It's always best to consult with a healthcare professional to see how it fits into your diet. Stay healthy! 🌿😊
