this video explores practical methods to feel your feelings and be able to move through them so that you can integrate them instead of suppressing them. I have found that practicing this adds to self-compassion, self-trust, and actually allows you to learn how to be there for other people as well. I really hope you take something away from this one! all my love

I am in a sort of Very Shitty Especially Crappy Real Bad sort of place at the moment. It's been hard getting through the day and my way of feeling things out really wasn't working, it got too overwhelming and too large too fast and I wasn't able to be there with it at all. I have therapy and friends and journaling and whatnot but truly it is So hard to not run from a feeling like that. This helps I think. I'll be trying this out. Thank you

Hi there! Thank you for sharing. I’m sorry life is feeling so overwhelming right now! I really hope this helps and hopefully becomes a tool in your toolbox. You’ve got this! At the end of this very hard situation is a much more resilient and expanded version of yourself ❤❤

Other RU-vidrs would refer to what you're talking about with two penetrating syllables: self-care🙂 I appreciate this 'self-help' video for its own sake rooted in deeply personal experience and to some extent, in praxis. You bring out the power of breath and gratefulness🥰🙏 I'm a newcomer here, glad I found you

You remind me of a trad wife gal who was popular about a year ago. Anyways, it's so messed up that we humans have to "process" our emotions, bla bla bla. I don't see any other animals having to do that. I think I'm emotionally trapped at the age of trauma, 2 1/2 years. I will spend the rest of my days working out my trauma. I'm now near the end of life snd have only just discovered these ideas. I'll quit here.

It's never too late to give yourself the life you deserve. Everyone spends the rest of their lives working out their traumas... it's the condition of life. I would say it's unfortunate if it wasn't so damn beautiful, if it didn't give rise to so much desire and good things as well. You deserve to be friends with yourself, to love yourself, to understand yourself... and I wish you all of that and more

@SahelSarai Well, thank you for the kind words. This has been a particularly bad year. Maybe things will get better. It's very hard when you're alone and isolated, like me. I think it's called "avoidant disorder."...

@@seanhammer6296 loneliness can really take a toll on a human. And it’s sad to see how isolated and lonely everyone is in our current society… I hope you can find some people, a community… even just a few people to talk to can really change everything

@SahelSarai I know. I am a very different kind of person, so finding like-minded people is difficult. Recently, I met a gal, and we had a thing going, or so I thought. Turns out she was just using me for her narcissistic supply. Prior to that, I lost a job, in part, due to the duplicitous woman I worked for, and now I think I'm going to lose my current job for the same reason: Narcissists and their victims are cut from the same cloth: trauma. The narcissist chooses death on the inside, and the others choose avoidance and have too much fear and lack boundaries. (I'm not sure "choose" is the right word.) The predators can easily spot their prey. It's going to take me forever to learn how to deal with this. I've noticed a pattern of always ending jobs with some sort of drama involved, and awhile back, I figured out it's me. Anyways, thanks for your kind words and encouragement. Cheers

@@seanhammer6296 I’m sorry you’ve been going through this, Sean. It sounds horrible! It saddens me that narcissism is so rampant now, whether that’s because it’s encouraged by the system, or trauma is more shame based now, I really don’t know. But I know there’s healing for those with trauma, there’s ways to recognize those familiar feelings that point to a comfort zone we created in childhood and a way to rationally and actively avoid them. And while therapists and self help gurus love to make it sound complicated and hard I really really think it can come quicker with self love and a focus on acting in your own best interest (in a way that doesn’t hurt others of course!) Either way, thank you for sharing. You’re not alone, not by a long shot! I’m willing to bet there are people who are going to see this conversation and relate to your situation. I’m always here if you need to talk!
