This is what happens when you become way too powerful in this game. Rest in pieces, all of my enemies that I blew up on my road to glory. Merch - df.store/ Game: Diep (dot) io Music provided by: (Epidemic Sound) www.epidemicsound.com/
Oh gawd, that is an old game, pretty sure in fire fights you need bullet penetration in this game, which is why he gets crushed so much in fire fights. Also pretty sure bullets affect your momentum, so firing backwards lets you go even faster, makes body ramming tactics to level up quicker. If you're firing forwards at somebody running away they have a speed advantage due to that since you're firing at them but they are firing at you. It's where the rear flank is so fast since by default it shoots far more bullets behind itself than in front.
@@akuraitanen I believe bullets can multi-hit with penetration, which is where you get number of hits*damage, so a bullet with 3 penetration and 3 damage would do potentially 9 damage, which is more than a bullet with 6 damage and not penetration. In the end, penetration still remains vastly more important for the bullet vs. bullet aspect. At least if I remember this game correctly.
Yes. Penetration is bullet HEALTH essentially. It doesn't increment by 1's per say, as each thing in this game has health and damage. A shape will deal damage to a bullet that hits it, and if the bullet has more health than the damage of the shape (like pentagons do more than squares or triangles) the bullet will hit more than once.
No damage build works without penetration. It's a bad name. It essentially gives penetration although it's really the health that allows bullets to survive through multiple shapes or bullets. Hitting in the center of things does the most damage since it allows for the most ticks of damage
For df if you’re reading this… Bullet penetration is basically a multiplier on your damage bc your bullet hits them multiple times, so that’s a must for a damage build. For a tank build you want to have all your points in movement speed, body damage, max health and regen, then the rest in reload Also if you hold y while in the game it pulls up a chart of every tank in the game and how to get it Would love to see you play this game again, hope this helps❤
No you do not need all of that. Body damage is just a bit better than max health, so only use that. You don't need health regen, but it does help. Max out bullet damage, bullet penetration, and bullet speed (unless if you're playing a fast glass). Then get some reload and movement speed. Then you can get body damage and regen (if you want).
Ahh the nostalgia I remember this game. A core memory of mine is when young me suggested the sandbox mode (and the name) to the developer's forum, and they actually added it. It felt amazing
Hey df in case you ever play this again, bullet penetration allows your bullets to hit multiple times which is why it felt like peope were doing a lot more damage than you
If I remember correctly, the trapper can level up to have invisibility while not moving and does most of it's damage by running into people, basically making you a landmine.
The tanks that can go invisible are the Stalker, an Assassin Upgrade, the Landmine, a Smasher upgrade, and the Manager, an Overseer upgrade. The Manager isn’t really suited for those builds because its drones give its position away if killed, since they’ll respawn on their own. The Landmine has the best potential body damage out of the Invisible tanks, but it has a longer cloak time because it was really toxic when it didn’t. The Stalker can work for those builds too though.
Haven’t seen this game in years, max bullet dmg body dmg, movement and health then pick the flank guard class, get as many guns pointing backwards for speed boost
Oh yes! Such a classic, commenting to let you know you gotta play more! (also if you want to use body damage you should not pick any class upgrades, just wait until you see a tank with no cannons, it takes a while to grind to though)
I love how he will surely revive this near dead game.If DF you read Ur comments firstly upgrade bullet pen and damage fully and upgrade 5 points to bullet speed and also upgrade full movement speed and rest of points to which ever path you want. Then use the twin path to upgrade into a pentashot or spreadshot build this way you have to have the lessmost skill but an op build to make up for that skill. Use E key for aautoshoot so U don't have to press down on that mouse too much and that way is the basics. See you in the other video.
Penetration is important because the damage is based on ticks so low bullet speed and high penetration causes the most damage per bullet. Bullet pen also helps with dealing with enemy bullets. It's rather important.
It enjoys me and upsets me that DF played one of my IO favorite game but he still need alot of knowledge to be able to survive on that game (By doing a Good build)
I always loved going sniper line, once you go through sniper and ranger you get to stalker, and once you stand still you get invisible, go full body damage, move speed, HP and as much regen as possible and just sit invisible and ambush ram people
if you leave your tank at default until you get the second tank change upgrade, you can get a secret tank that doesn't have bullets, its only body damage
Hey if u ever decude to pick this up again, min maxing id the best way to do this. Either go for glass cannon with max dng pen and bellet speed. Max reload, max pen and max bullet speed. Or go body dmg, max hp and hp regen and rest in bullet speed. Theres also a build that doesnt require using any bullets but u have to skip the first uograde until level 30 iirc. That tank is just max hp and regen and body dmg and movement speed.
Anyone else miss stardew valley content from df? There was a new update recently full of fun goodies for content. Either way df never fails to entertain
If you shoot in the opposite direction of where you are going you move faster. That’s why the flank guards with 2 in the back move faster than you cos they are propelling themselves forward.
When shoot you get pushed back in the opposite direction. So the ones who have one cannon in front and multiple in the back it pushes them at you quicker then you can run away
I was like number 1 on the leaderboard in this game when I was 9 every time I played. That really tells something about either me being way too smart or df being way too dumb
Shooting behind you and moving backwards makes you a lot faster than moving normally because of the recoil. That's why the tanks with multiple cannons on their back were a lot faster than you
btw everyone (most of them) were faster than u because when u shoot behind yourself you get like boosted, so with either fast fire rate or heavy attacks you can go pretty fast
Diep Io? It's been Years since I heard about it. I thought the game is dead but looks like there's still someone playing it The good old days of io games, agar slither diep
