Normally, I do not care much for main characters that act like they don't understand what emotions are. But not only does this guy seem to have a decent portrayal for being emotionally stunted as a person, the way he delivers his lines with Saitama levels of "OK" bluntness really adds to the comedy of the situation. MC: "Welcome to the family Daughter." Daughter: "Why did you adopt me?" MC: "Because Wife wanted to, and I said OK." 😆

A lot of these isekai and fantasy novels/manga all seem to have similar story beats. Step 1: be secretly OP Step 2: get betrayed by your allies Step 3: ????? Step 4: Assemble a harem of hot, equally OP demon, dragon, and magic monster girl waifus.

Yeah it's the otaku/weeb/neet pipe dream, and attracts an audience of equally weird people. I enjoy stories like this one a lot more, where we get an actual realistic-ish relationship between the MC's family, or straight up focus on family development.

This is much different from a harem and isekai. He gets betrayed, yes...but he was made that way. He had no purpose in life, and even said it himself. "I have nothing except this power." He acknowledges that he's too powerful and that because of it, he has no place in the world. That alone, shows a huge difference because most overpowered MC's, are huge sissies who are convinced they're "weak". On the other hand, this one is far more realistic, and after sparing a dragon which was clearly not a threat to the people anymore, they get married. All of that, is enough to give this story it's own premise and it's enjoyable. If you can't appreciate such simple things, then it shows your opinion isn't as thought out and educated as you pretend it is. Just a biased judgment.

But still, its fun to watch this mangas when you have nothing more to watch, also the excuse for the marriage thing is the same other mangas have, nothing innovative, just accept its a manga to watch in some moments when you are bored, not the future of isekais, because it is not

OMG, I couldn't stop laughing when Lloyd was 'riding his wife' in her dragon form! 😂 That scene had me in stitches! Also, major props to the main character for being emotionally stunted yet hilariously blunt. His 'OK' level of bluntness reminds me of Saitama, and it's pure comedy gold.

Consider him uncaring but logical. His only purpose in life is to follow orders, and respond to calls for help. As his wife asked to sleep with him, he simply slept in the same bed with her. Once he understood that it was more than just sleeping, he was ready to go that second, in the open, in the middle of the day. XD

The king is the real demon. Lloyd should have taken the princess as his wife. Then the king would understand that his daughter is a royal hostage as is typical among royalty and it would prevent the king from killing Lloyd.
