Tbh it’s kinda the opposite for me the new 4 stars mostly come home around 10-20 pulls. The only 4 star that took a long time to get home was Candace, she came home in 50 pulls 😢

This is so true. On cyno's banner I was pulling for shinobu. I got a qiqi, candace, c6 sayu, ningguang, dori, and collei. But no shinobu. :_(

The desire sensor can be cruel or hilarious, depending on various factors. For example, last patch I wanted Shenhe since I mostly use Ayaka while a friend was gunning for Mika (who I didn't want as much due to not having Eula). Friend spent enough to get an additional con on both Ayaka and Shenhe each and only got C4 Mika, while I who lost my 50/50 and needed 21 more wishes in cost over what I'd saved for Shenhe also hit C4 ... in roughly half the wishes or less. Oh, and when it hit new patch and I dropped wishes on the standard banner going for the long-odds Dehya ... I hit C5 Mika.

I got cyno when trying to get candace(got both on the same pull) ruined my nahida pity, she came home this banner though

I got Jean while trying to get C1 Bennet He didn't come home until 30 wishes later

As someone who accidentally got Childe while pulling for Layla... He's amazing, I love him. No regrets.

Assuming you have Skyward Atlas (or at least Oathsworn Eye, but lower dmg of course). Yae is ridiculously powerful as a sub dps. Hitting 11-12k per E strike without reactions is pretty easy. You can go even higher, but personally it took me 3-4 months of artifact grinding. Mine currently does 12.5-13k as base dmg from a crit

I did 80 pulls and only got Layla once despite naively hoping for at least c2. On the bright side, I really wanted Childe and got him despite 50/50

I did not get get Layla in 80 pulls. Got Yae miko though so I don't have to roll for her next rerun.

I've been trying to get thoma for the last 2 banners he was rate up and Diona and Ningguang bombed me. My C2 Thoma is actually from standard and non rate up. At least I got a copy from this banner

That literally happened with me when i wanted to get some cons for Rosaria and ended up getting Ayaka instead , or when i wanted Bennett but got Raiden (but I don't regret for getting them)

Me with Heizou and even paid just for him to come home once on a free wish

Me, who fully intends to pull on a 3.5 banner *only* for Mika:

me when I blew like 60 or so wishes for Heizou, and ended up with c6 Thoma, one Klee, a truckload of Sacrifical Greatswords, and no Heizou.

You do get a 4 star every 10 wishes :v just that it's totally random

It's even worse if you want to get Constellations for starter 4 Star characters, or specific standard 5 Star characters. There's only like 1 in 40 chance of getting a specific 4 Star starter character when getting a 4 Star on standard banner, so it would take potentially up to 400 pulls or more to get a single Constellation for the 4 Star starter characters you want. Also my Mona has reached C11 (gotten the pitiful 25 Starglitter *5 times*), while my Keqing is still stuck on C1...

But I have the Knave now. After I finally gave up expecting/wanting it so badly.

It's very relatable in 3.5 Phase 1 where most players are not interested in either Dehya or Cyno and are only pulling for Bennett. 👍
