Anybody who couldn't quite hear the lyrics would assume this was straight-up EXCELLENT country music. LOL!!! I think they're one of the best musical comedy acts to come along in years. NOT your everyday novelty/spoof act. And listen to Debbie--she is FANTASTIC--such a beautiful voice. Doyle is no slouch either! One day I want to fly to Nashville and see them for myself, in the meantime, I wish Lorne Michaels would give them the musical guest spot on Saturday Night Live next season!!!
Imagine what it would be like to have the real, true country sound back on the air.....George,Tammy ,Kriss so many had such good music n songs! Glad that those Bama boy's ugh excuse me men are still with us n at least we have oldies on Sat. nights for a couple hours!

Now that's singing!!! These two really know how to do it. Humor aside, they are great singers. Don't know why they don't have mainstream recording contracts. They could make a *_HELL_* of a lot of money.
Except for the title,the song would be a hit in the 50's and 60's..it has that sound and those harmonies,which are perfect in every way......excellent job!!

Humor aside for a minute, both have great voices and the harmony is wonderful. It's much better than most of the drivel I hear on the radio in my neck of the woods.
After hearing about these guys for a couple of years, I finally got to see them last night. It is a BRILLIANT show! Not only talent, but the perfect parody of old time country music. They're in Nashville now at 'The Station' if you're in the area. I strongly recommend!

This it the Country Duo that put the Cu@t back into Country. You guys are very clever and funny as hell. I'm a professional bass player from Texas and you guys nailed the whole Corny Texana Country Music Scene in the 1960's and 70's. The only problem is when I listen to you all, I get homesick!! I'm 70+ now, and I came here from England 20 years ago. I dont know how I missed this brilliantly talented duo. I just happened on them on RU-vid. I Googled them and they still do only relatively small venue's. They would do really well in the UK where their country parody would go down a storm. Meanwhile, I do hope they're in the Arizona area one day.

she is quite a lovely lady, but at about 3:10 they do a close up of her face and her expression is that of someone who is remembering something from her past. or it could be my imagination. I would get that look from my ex wife. problem was she was accusing me but she was the one getting it on the side. bitch!!!
