A list of Victims I'd like Saw to face. 1) A super intelligent person that can overcome the traps in painless ways. 2) A person with absolutely no sense of self preservation 3) An apethetic person who just doesn't care if he lives or dies 4) A person who actually wants to die
You don't understand saw then, Jigsaw mainly tests the people in the 2-4 catagarys as he sees it as a way too cure those things. Also John, Hoffman and probably Gordon can "intercipate the human mind and leave nothing too chance" so that super smart person wouldn't be able to outsmart anyone other then Amanda or any of the remake Jigsaw's
LOL this comment reminds me of the christmas my parents gave my siblings thoughful gift cards to stores that fit their interests but then gave me one for Applebees. It was like they had filled each of my siblings christmas stockings with their favorite candy and then the only thing in mine was a lemon even though I hate lemons.
@@magosexploratoradeon6409 about that. What if the other guy is a better fighter and knocks you out instead? Your hands would most probably be ripped to pieces in those saw blades.
@@chickencurry420 it would be cool if there were decorative, destructible things like a exposed rope or chains throughout the trap and the people would be absolutely distraught at the fact they could avoid that chaos by just destroying something they didn't
@@theblindbandit6533 I remember that being original Jigsaw's major gripe with his apprentices after he was hospitalized. They absorbed all the engineering and threw out all the entire purpoe.
There’s a lack of understanding in this comment. John Kramer the original Jigsaw, didn’t make his traps unbeatable. Each one was designed from the ground up to be solved or “deactivated” in ONE specific way. There was a purpose behind each trap and they were designed to make the victim value their life and be “rehabilitated” from their destructive nature through physical trauma and predicament torture. He was a rich civil engineer before he was a serial killer, and he had a lot of help constructing each trap/game. Each trap was constructed and tested in an environment that minimized any possible caveats or loopholes a victim could potentially discover. That’s why certain traps go through advancements or phases like the bear trap, John was eliminating ways victims could find another way out of a trap other than the specific way he had designed. The only other ways his traps are stopped outside of the way he intends, is if there is a great amount of interference from outside sources such as police, or something in the environment not being previously accounted for. It is the later Jigsaw killers that do not care about the philosophy of rehabilitation or the value of life. - Jigsaw #2 (Amanda) became unhinged and made her traps impossible to escape. - Jigsaw #3 (Hoffman) was arguably the most prolific killer, and even had a higher body count than Kramer, he made his traps impossible to escape as well, his goal was to eliminate pretty much everyone involved with the Jigsaw games, going as far as shooting his way out of an FBI office, setting up sentry gun turrets, bombing state police, faking his death, and killing everyone in a police station including Jigsaw’s own wife. - Jigsaw #4/Logan wasn’t technically a Jigsaw, he is an ex combat medic and was going out of his way to kill one unbelievably corrupt cop. The games in Saw 8 aren’t Logan, they are in the past being conducted by John, it is actually the first ever Jigsaw game before Saw 1. Those traps were escapable. - Jigsaw #5/William Schenck also wasn’t technically a Jigsaw but was very much directly emulating/copying Jigsaw. As far as I know his traps were never meant to be escapable either. So when John was the active Jigsaw killer, the games were literally designed to be beaten and you did have a likelihood of success if you thought hard enough. As for the remaining apprentices/copycats, the traps were designed to be inescapable , so even though they might get more complicated..it’s highly unlikely you would ever escape the trap if you found yourself having to escape one.
@@sweetboson "every day bro with that Disney Channel flow". If that doesn't remind you, then literally just search the quote. That should get you the context
That was always my biggest gripe with the Saw franchise. Like, i wanna live as much as the next person, but i don't want to live so badly that I'm willing to gauge out my own eyes with a spoon, bruh! And the whole series is dependent on people who apparently do, i guess??
Not only that but like...human beings passing out due to extreme pain IS a thing, so i think you'll very probably pass out from trying to cut off your eye and then just die anyway
@@GabrielTorres-fl2xo At least you'd be unconscious while the trap activates. Won't have to suffer the agonizing sensation of being stabbed or crushed or whatever trap does.
@@HakoTaco1 you tried to correct the guy, so JJ corrected you. This is funny because it an example of situational irony, as when you tried to correct Artho, you instead where the one corrected, creating a joke, otherwise known as a goof, a jape, etc. You then responded in a serious manner, demonstrating your subpar understanding of modern humour, leaving you up for public humiliation. Realizing this, the dude replied with “bruh”, his expression trying to subtly hint to you that you had missed something of importance in the conversation. The situation has evolved into further situational irony, as now, not once, but two times have you failed to understand the humour, doubling down on the general consensus of ridicule this comments section has towards you, very much to my, and others, amusement.

@@jazzabighits4473 accepting death in a saw movie would be having your jaw explode, or your bowels pulled out. It's not an easier death most of the time.
@@patrickstump4681 even that ammount would make a person very dizzy and disoriented and probably wouldn't be able to think straight which could lead to death either way if they didn't escape also you wouldn't magically stop bleeding once 5 pints was achieved, if you cut a big wound you might still die from bleeding
@@rotini3851 well, they develop his character really well throughout the first 7 Saw movies. He may be a bad guy, but he had his reasons for doing the stuff he did. And like the other comment said, he had this sort of weird honour system.
@@builttoscalevideos dam they show you his life and reasons so well that you start to know him. I wouldn't know cuz I've only watched all the yt videos about the movies but never actually seen any of them
@@rotini3851 Saw 1 is probably the only good one tbh. The timeline gets to be a bit of a clusterfuck by the end of the series, but at the same time that’s kind of Saw’s charm, after Saw 3 you’re like, “what crazy shit are they gonna come up with next?”
I love how the whole reason jigsaw made the traps is for them to learn a lesson and then appreciate life and cherish it. Literally what happens here is the complete opposite literally thinks of all the things he won’t have to deal with anymore if he’s dead lol
That guy didn’t want to die, he just knew how to connect on a spiritual and cultural level with the killer and saved himself probably hours worth of pain and misery.
Funny enough there’s only 10 pints in the average adult and losing half of that is generally fatal, so even if they both split it, they would both die, so Jigsaw kind of made this one impossible. Plus it’s not like one of them could die and easily get all of their blood in that jar.
that is a trap that actually appeared in one of the movies. the group started with like 10 people iirc and they died as they went through the traps and by the time they got to the last one, only two people were left. by which point they realised that if they worked together instead of sacrificing each other to the traps, everyone would need to lose only a small amount of blood and they would be free. the guy from the final pair sacrificed himself by slicing his arm into three pieces. you know, as you do.
@@juliap5907 Saw 5. There were 5 people in the trial, and by this trap, there was only two. Same principle, having to work together throughout the whole trial. Both of the last victims gave 5 pints each and lived. Being nitpicky, the arm was only cut in half down the forearm.
@@linermusic4732 i think suffocating is way worst than passing out due to loss of blood, sure the cut in your arm would hurt, but still, i would be fine with that for saving someone else
Yeah, I think in this situation I'd somehow try to do myself in somehow rather than either of those things happening. That way I could at least control how quick or painless it was.
1:00 Actually, a human being can lose a maximum of 14% of their blood. On average we have anywhere from 4.5 to 5.5 of liters of blood. Which means that a singular person can lose anywhere from 0.63 to 0.77 liters of blood without life-threatening effects. At 20% you will become dizzy and might lose conciseness. (0.9 to 1.1 liters) At 30% to 40% the blood loss is considered critical (roughly 1.35 to 2.2 liters) 1 litre is around 2.11 US pints So that means that for 10 US pints you would need 4.73 liters of blood. Even if this amount is split between the two contestants, it would still require each to provide 2.365 liters of blood. This amount is well above the 40% mark and loss of consciousness followed by a coma and a certain death is almost guaranteed. Even is somehow both of them could stay awake after such a loss of blood, they would require immediate aggressive life-saving measures.
NGL I had low expectations coming into this, I had never seen any of your work, boy am I impressed! You've got another subscriber here! About to go through your back catalogue now. Can't wait to see what you have in store!
I don't know which is worse: the fact that his..."friend" just casually walked out, leaving him to die, or the fact that Jigsaw turned the machine and timer BACK on and left with him. TO. GET. STAMPS.
@@bethanydavis9023 it wasn't even his friend. Most people in saw movies are strangers forced to worked together. It's easier to do bad things to people you have no connection too hence why "what will you do to survive" is always a running theme in saw movies
It doesn’t matter, if the guy left behind at the end was willing to do it to live, then why should it matter that he has do do it solo for half the amount, his lot hasn’t changed, so logically he’s just pissed he has to be the only one to suffer, which he was resigned but willing to anyway lol
I honestly expected the other guy to knock out the depressed one and use him for the entire 10 pints. Like, if you wanna die, cool. Just die in a way which benefits me.
it would be really cool if they did a saw series where the protagonist is super intelligent and ends up finding countless other ways to circumvent the traps.
I'd like to see a horror movie but the one character who genuinely doesn't give a shit whether they die or not is somehow miraculously able to avoid death at every turn
@@darthestar8791 Random character: oh my god! We're going to be killed!!! I don't want to die!!! Them: lmao bet *runs into danger* RC: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!? Them: well if we just run from the problem it's only gonna get worse *shrug*
Saw movies are unrealistic. How do the victims have such high pain threshold? A small cut on my finger and I can't use my hand for several days already.
@@julesverne4339 Well, all opiates would but I think Jigsaw drugging them would defeat the point. Technically alcohol and amphetamines/uppers can do the same thing, just not to the same level.
Idk man, I fell off a ledge once and split my nails entirely off gripping a windowsill to stop my fall. Was bleeding fuckin everywhere but didn't really notice until after I landed on a dumpster lid. Humans are capable of some pretty brutal stuff in order to survive.
@@Its_Captain_Jack_Sparrow not every one of Jigsaw's victims committed crimes, though. One dude literally just self-harmed and I'm not trying to say I'm an advocate of doing it, but I mean he puts that guy in the same vein as a literal rapist. Jigsaw's sense of morality is a little flawed.
@@iiiivvvv9986 Jigsaw's origin story becomes kinda weird throughout the series. First it was because he got diagnosed with cancer and had a failed suicide attempt which gave him a new outlook on life, then it was because his wife had a miscarriage because someone hit her in the stomach with a door, then it was because an insurance company screwed him over with the cancer or something, they pretty much just invent a new origin story whenever they feel like it. It's part of the reason why some people hate Saw but I don't know, the convoluted story is part of the charm in my opinion.
Fun fact, the human body has 10 pints of blood in total but if you lose 40% or more of your blood you will die, so losing 4 pints would kill you, so in that situation you either kill your friend or you both die. Unless they took teh 5 pint deal together and sacrificed 2.5 pints each.
Okay I would totally watch an entire movie of this. Just this guy and Saw dude chatting it up and having a great time. Would be better than like half of those Saw movies as well
Ik right? The movies ended up being more about the traps than the actual story. The first one was great. It was creative, and had both story and interesting traps. Things just went downhill from there. Especially with them killing off so many likeable and interesting characters, one of the best examples being Eric Matthews. Also, the way they made a lot of the traps impossible was so shit. One of the best things about the traps was that they had hope, seeing it was possible to survive, but failed. Giving a human hope just to crush it right after is pure psychologic horror right there.
@@vasconcelos7356 There should be a saw movie where the victims outsmart every trap and make it out uninjured and then put saw theough a series of his own traps and rig the last one so there's no way out.
"No, the fuck, I was joking!" 😂😂😂 Love those videos where the horror genre is thoroughly disassembled by you while you showcase the absolute absurdity of "horror" 😁
This is why you should always stay hydrated kids, if you’re ever stuck in this very specific death trap you can just piss in the blood receptacle, works exactly the same.
I'd probably just do the blood thing as soon as it turns on without giving the other person a chance to stop me. This sounds depressing, but I'd rather them be fully conscious for the next puzzle than both being half dead
In most of the Saw movies, all stuff was pre-recorded [video tapes ; voice recordings]. There wasn't a direct communication between Jigsaw and his test subjects. But in this YT video, due to its nature (parody), it was made that Jigsaw can hear (and talk with) his test subjects.
Anybody else genuinely want to see a scene like this in a horror movie? I think it would probably work really well in one of the “scary movie” movies. I’d love to see someone just speech 100 their way out if something like this
I disagree if its just cutting your hand for blood, but if its actually cutting off your fingers/part of your hand, then I'm not so sure anymore. Also may depend on exactly what type of gas. To me getting permanently handicapped would be far more demotivating for trying to survive than the pain by itself. Also can you actually safely give that much blood and be able to stop it in time? Otherwise its only choosing how you die, not if you die (soon)
For me it’s the fact that even the premise of the challenge is supposed to be nigh impossible without someone almost or actually dying since they have to give almost an entire human’s body worth of blood and losing more than 40% can lead you to dying
If I get stuck in a trap that causes a fast death I'll just sit and wait it out, or if its one of the pin ones I'll chillax there and wait for someone to come rescue me
Anyone notice how the Saw guy finishes his sentence with "Everyday bro." And the dude with the list just paused and looked at the Camera. Lmao, that was sneaky
Are you sure he did it casually? I prefer to imagine him doing a line of coke first, and then frantically building a bunch of contraptions on the fly using whatever's around.
Ayo! I have been said that Jigsaw can have those games - life is hard as it is, just turn the clock off and finish this. Ain’t nobody got time to have a panic attack- that just makes your blood pump more then you lose it quicker.
"For this challenge you must grind you- wait why are you sitting down." "I decided that head explosion is better than anything with the word grind in it."
