The funny thing is that when you drop that kind of cash on an Android you're getting crazy state-of-the-art tech. Lol. I have a low end Samsung phone that came with the plan (aka free) nearly 5 years ago that has been dropped outside, inside, whatever, repeatedly. It's still in great shape. The screen protector and the 3rd party case I bought for $10 are the only things I need to replace. I've even looked at higher end phones like the Google Pixel but never bothered to buy them because I don't do anything but text occasionally, take calls here and there, and play a few games when I need to kill time (work breaks). I have several family members (it's like 50/50) that have iPhones and all I hear about is the cost of upgrading or repair. This company doesn't even try to hide their grift. That's why they had to get sued just for the right to repair outside of Apple, since it was another way they were making megabucks (forcing customers to pay their exorbitant repair prices).

Water damage was the only reason I finally replaced mine last year, and I went straight for the Ultra because I couldn't not have my beloved stylus. I can't for the life of me figure out why people keep letting Apple bamboozle them with those chintzy phones.

Nothing like it! Galaxy series never lets me down. I got Covid on the way back home from a long weekend trip in 2021 and was stuck in hotel quarantine for 10 days - I worked off just my phone and did everything I needed to do as if I had access to my normal office. Total lifesaver.
