Just doing my daily chores, fighting my smart cleaner robot. By the way you could check my average speed build at the end of the video! #armoredcore6 #smartcleaner #metalgearrising #rulesofnature #speedbuild #bossfight
Even easier than that. Tetrapod legs, hover above it, dump missiles down the top. If you do this right, you will literally never be in danger during the entire fight
You should make "cursed mech build" type videos. With the customization in this game, it seems like there are lots of crazy things you can come up with
To all those talking about how trivial the fight is, or how to make it easy, you have to understand that AC, like any Fromsoft game with customization, is about how you want to play it. Sam here, wanted to do a speed build, and that's what he did, and he did it very well. This video is a testament on how to do that properly, and that is giving other newer players insight on how to approach something they may have desired to do, and didn't know how. There's plenty of ways to design an AC, and getting to choose how you want to play AC is what always made AC so great.
Not to mention AC6 is the only game that will force you to be aggressive and there is no point on playing defensive or the enemy will punish you more as you punish yourself by not going all out.
I personally love speedy builds. My AC is designed after my motorcycle, which is 2009 Yamaha R6 "Raven" Edition. It was meant to be! I even recreated a lot of the decals I put on my motorcycle in the image creator. Yep, my AC has a K&N decal on it 😅
Not only that, but the game doesn't let you get away with one cheesy build that works really well against only one type of enemy. Late game bosses will check those builds and you have to balance evasion with bulk and DPS.
Definitely want to try a 'Classic Armored Core' run. No quick boosts, no assault boosts, no hard lock, rifle right hand, laser sword left hand, shoulder cannon, shoulder missile launcher. Just like the good old days.
People have already mentioned 1:03 but I can't get over how well the QB and melee attacks sync with the music at 1:18!!! It's so cinematic it almost feels scripted!
Don’t you hate it when you’re playing Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and the game completely changes into a mech game which will then make you question reality?
Just a reminder that his build is clearly a late-game one, or at least has late-game parts, cus the melee weapon he uses is one which can bw found in a chest in chapter 4, so you may need to wait a while before you can craft an AC this fast. Still, by the point you get to the mission show in this video, you can already get some good lightweight parts and weapons, so you can get close to this.
I also like to use that early burst rifle. It just has so much stun buildup. Also it does a lot of damage and has such a large ammo pool you can use it like forever.
Happy to see a speed build getting some love, seems like they aren't being used much. If you haven't tried them, the sneider lightweight legs that are available from the beginning are super good IMO. They give you perfect jump height without being the reverse joint legs which i dont care for. Its super easy to avoid everything coming at you when youve got a good jump and quick boosting
Speed builds are skill-based builds. Most new players aren't used to Armored Core so they opt for heavier builds to soak hits. All the vets did that too when they first started out, I remember slapping tank legs on, and thinking I could take on anything... then getting humbled by high-level arena. As the game keeps getting more popular due to streamers you will start seeing more and more speed builds.
This is my first AC. Every time I see an enemy with tons of quick shots/missile spam like the first and second chapters end bosses, I use a speed AC. Balanced and Tank are way too slow to dodge those hits, and they get demolished. I also use a speed AC for general missions, cuz it just zooms through. I only switch to a tank when the enemy is a speed type. For this boss, I used a hover, it was very ez
It's crazy how good metal gear rising music goes with this game I was playing I am my own master now when a tetrapod used its plasma sword on me for the first time you can imagine how loud I got
Yeah bro and the reach of it is ridiculous too, many people say this is the slowest Boss but don’t you dare underestimate that arm’s reach, I get instant kill many time because of it 😆
@@Pika-ck7ww you don't need the hover legs to do that, quite a few generators recover fast enough to grant you absurd airtime. The coral ones being the most stupid, as they actually allow you to have infinite airtime.
@@Pika-ck7ww you can stay mid-air for a while if your build is focus on upward thrust + aptitude stability, just like the mecha he operated in the video.
That's actually not a problem with Gen 6. Seems they only get a max of like, 12 Gs in a bunch of very short bursts, so pretty survivable. At least it ain't Gen 4 where an Overboost would turn you into mush because of 60+ Gs.
I did this with a tetrapod build. Set to hover mode with some gatlings and laser cannons and just shoot into the chute from the air. The ONLY thing that can damage you is the explosion that you can dodge without much issue.
this is a armored core moment of all time...... but wheres the pistol with a sniper scope and its barrel removed 😭 also W music choice, love the mgr:r soundtrack
