i always get screwed trying to position myself to punish the double tail spin with Strongarm, now i see at what distance i have to actually stay to avoid getting slap by the 2nd one. Thank you for this beautiful reading of "how to beat a Rathian like a boss" by Aris. 👌
gotta say this: Im proud of being able to do this in a such less stylish way and feels amazing enough, can't imagine how much joy this player felt the first time of reading any monster like a bug
Counter system in Great sword is what every Great sword users wishes and it is very good. I want to see Aris hunt all monsters in MH's all series, first of all from MHR, MHW. his positioning, timing, strategy gives me inspiration.
Absolutely fraking enjoyed watching this!!!!! The Greatsword is Most Abso-fraking-lutely my Most Absolute favorite weapon of All Time, in Video Games and IRL!!!!! Subscribed to your channel, looking forward towards your content here this year, Aris MH
@@nawenyxar4378 Kinda? It's longer and heavier than most other swords, but it's actually fairly light compared to what you might think. The largest greatsword used in battle IRL was about 7ft tall and only around 14lb in weight. Well, that's the European greatsword anyway. The Japanese ones were much smaller and heavier.
how many hunt number did you play with Rathian till to get this proffessional shot? I'm curious about the hunt number with Tigarex too. And also the mean number of other monsters too & what is your principle strategy to get that.
I think you go from sheathed to guarding by pressing ZR on switch or whatever your guard button is set to. Then, cancel it by doing the input for Strongarm Stance immediately. So Unsheathe->Guard->Strongarm Stance
You are trivialising this hunt to the point that I'm starting to believe that the rise pink rathian is hella easier compared to the mh4u one. Good job! 👍
@@socio637 I can't answer for you, but I'm sure I will not play it. I am trying to finish mh4u while waiting for mh6 (or whatever it will be named) and the wirebug thing is bugging me. So yeah, no Rise.
@@nawenyxar4378 I think a game like frontier would be the definitive Mh if it weren’t for the atrocious gen 2 hitboxes. It really pisses me off. I’m playing it now and I just don’t like not being able to dodge through tails due to every hitbox being twice the size of the later game’s ones
Wind Mantle skill, comes from Risen Kushala armor or getting really lucky with Qurio Talisman Charms. After using a Silkbind move, the Wirebug turns green and speeds up charging.
the youtuber is using a number of mods to support the hunt. the third wirebug lasts for 2 minutes instead of 90 seconds and i dont think any skill allows for this. the talisman is highly likely modded in. it's possible that his augments are also modded in and he didn't want this to be obvious. it is still a very skilled and deliberate play but it is bad spirit to hide your augments and especially your mods.
i really want you to try old world greatsword. MHFU was terrible with the greatsword. Mobility was on par with a paraplegic kid on stairs. And you were as weak as dried up leaves being played with kids up to you of course
