Funny thing is, I have no doubt it was written to come off as Saturday Morning cartoon villain with the entire intention to just boast their own greatness, but Raul here delivers it as if he was genuinely sorry that's all she saw in it. He makes it so much more evil by making it genuinely not personal against her, but yet it was a shame she didn't recognize the importance of her village being overrun by the great M. Bison. He turned cheese into almost Shakespearean prose just with inflection.

I don't think this game was supposed to be like the others where you RP'ed as your own character. I feel like you were role-playing as the Sole Survivor, as an already established character. I wish they would have just given him a name, to fully take away the veil of choice. lol

Fallout 4 was a major disappointment and the last game that I will ever pre-order.

@@asraarradon4115 In FO4 you play as Nate and everything is built around playing as Nate (Nora is a shoe-horned token for those that want a female character but she is quite obviously not the true protag). There is quite literally no room for any RP both due to the voiced protag, the garbage dialogue system, and the quest design leaving almost literally zero options for any of the quests (And the few times you get options they pretty much never have any impact on the world).

I still need to fully play Nuka World. Ultimate raider roleplay DLC.

Is why I have been using a mod that allows you to destroy the Minutemen instead of revive them. Some of the other quests in the mod are questionable but being able to wipe out Preston Garvey and the Longs is worth it. Feel kind of bad shooting Mama Murphy and Sturgis though but very possible to spare them instead of killing them. I like playing as the Minutemen sometimes but damn does it feel good to be evil in a Fallout game sometimes.

The Main Quest is so bad and boring that i honestly preffer to play Raider than do it

Nah, I killed all of the Raiders in Nuka World not because I take pity for the slaves there but because they treat me just as Preston does, an errand boy. There's even a dialogue option to refuse their fetch quests saying I'm not their errand boy. The only faction that treats me like a real boss is those traders in Nuka World after I free them from the raiders. And they even say I'm the boss.

Yeah, don't know of any real-world generals who take their orders from a PFC.

That they purposefully made Preston Garvey annoying and hateable so that they could sell us a dlc that would be cathartic in sticking it to him? They wouldn’t even have to really try just as they didn’t, just A. be a raider B. fuck up the Minutemen.

Would have been cool if Nuka world could have been it's own "failsafe" as the minutemen hate you after you become a raider but under their failsafe switch code you cannot antagonize them. It would be cool if instead, while you still can't kill Garvey, they kick you out of the minutemen until you change your ways, you can't talk to any of your minutemen settlements until you "reclaim" them, and the raiders become their own anti-institute faction.

Nuking both the NCR and Legion is simply the sensible and moral thing to do.

this was my biggest problem with nuka world. If you dont build up the entire wasteland yourself, there's nothing to raid. And if you DO do it, you're basically just stealing from yourself...

@@freakymoejoe2 yeah it was really dumb. settlement building was fun but Bethesda basically used it as an excuse to be lazy and not make many towns or communities. wide as an ocean deep as a puddle.

My issue was that I got annoyed by the your settlement is under attack message, so I built rocket turret towers in every settlement. My game had like 2 fps when I tried to attack one

It felt like a huge and well deserved F You to Preston.

Also the fact JCVD could actually do a flash kick IRL, and aside from his french accent as an american soldier, he was the only other person to actually do something related to the video game. But that probably had a lot to do with Raul Julia building up that scene.

Once your settlement gets a single settler, it's considered "theirs" Your character is apparently just there to benevolently use all their own effort and resources to improve settlements for other people. When you take the Quincy survivors to Sanctuary, they kindly and generously "allow" you to stay after helping them... in your own house. Fallout 4 needs a mod where the people elect you as the damn president
