This exactly what i do when i super anxious. Just pray and surrendering everything to Allah, but at the same time follow the sign, do the work, and trust the process.

Give up is probably not the best word to use. The mind attributes that to "I'm stopping and starting something else". I think 'not chasing' is a better way to explain it. You wont be getting anything if you 'give up' Allah helps them who help themselves. You need to put in some conscious effort. Set a goal and then focus on the process and and enjoy the process and you will reap rewards. Constantly thinking about the goal and not how you will get there is when you get into trouble

By giving up you mean let go, deliver, exhale, expand and hand it over to Allah

Live your life day to day and at the end of the day, that goals that should’ve been met are: did I eat well?, did I work well?, and will I sleep well? Focus on this. The rest will come.

I don’t know why, but before this semester started ( I’m a uni student) I had a certain grade that I wanted to achieve, and I was very disciplined, 2 weeks before exams I got severely sick and I couldn’t study whatsoever, I sometimes forced myself to study but nothing helped, I kept doing dhikr and praying and reciting all the duas I know, but I just didn’t do well in my exams and I maybe even getting less the what I got last semester, what could have I done wrong? Like I set the intention that this semester I’ll do my best and I was so excited for it but the complete opposite happened, I have studied hard for them and felt confident going to the exam: but the opposite always happens.

You still have to make effort physically. Like Rasoolullah SAW said, "Tie your camel" So we have to try and take action, but just switch off the anxiety, and the desires and surrender to the result of that effort, regardless of what that result may be.

When you chase anything you want it will always run away from you, that is called resistance and whatever you resist will always persist. 🛑 the resistance and it will automatically come to you. Allah never wants you to want anything so badly because then it shows you are not giving in to the will of Allah and you are giving in to your nafs instead . I always say I want what you want for me Allah and not what I want for myself because you know what’s best for me:) it works all the time. Someone said he is 24 but look like 35, that is a blessing from Allah, Allah gave him knowledge, energy, finance etc above his age so that many people will benefit from him. sincerely all his videos are full of thoughts of erudite scholars above 60yrs, that is a great blessing. I think in this video he simply saying that one should not over stressed him self in trying to achieve his goals. I.e pursue your goals but not to d extent that it will distract you from Allah to d extent the goal become an Idol, set d goals but have d believe that only Allah can enable you to achieve it not your effort.

I get what you are saying but people shouldn't misunderstand this and just give up even when the slightest inconvenience shows up and it gets just a little bit harder. Have faith in the Creator but also work hard and have faith in your abilities because they are a gift from Him.

To submit to the will of the lord is what vibration/tasbeeh is, it's when we truly make allah "Akbar", it's when we remove our ego/taghut out of the way and we become aligned/in harmony with the universe.
