I wish fellow Muslims and scholars would apply those pillars of tyranny when it comes to domestic abuse 😢 Instead victims of abuse are purposely ignored, and our abusers are enabled and excused for every single reason when Islam calls for justice against oppression especially against women and children. War or domestic abuse, the symptoms and effects are similar.

To fight against Pharaoh, Musa (A:) and his followers didn't't make a competition of wealth and power with him and them. They made themselves pious and brave. Engineers of this ummah are brilliant, the politicians of this ummah are powerful, businessmen of this ummah are rich... (but there is more story on the other side of the coin, though), what kind of power do we need to seek to help this miserable ummah? And there is always the poor and rich in a society. We need to struggle to eradicate properties by taking personal responsiblities and also make sure society is not corrupted and every worthy one is paying Zakat Instead of fighting for power, we should fight for Zakat to pay annually. . According to my understanding, Islam is the religion of peace because it declares fight against Zalim to help Muzlum. . Muslims are exampled as date trees on a desert. (In the middle of harsh situation, he/she will help everyone). We need to focus on making great character- praying to Allah, obeying our parents and caring for them, staying away from the obscene world... . Islam is a system to run me, my family, my society and the world on a broad scale. Power will eventually catch up, we need not to be worried about it if we make ourselves the way Allah wants us to be.

The response from some so called Muslim leaderships like Saudi Arabia and UAE p, Bahrain has been unforgivable.
